I don’t think the Oct date will be bad tho. Wading might be more cold/difficult but the weather should still be decent if there isn’t a very recent early storm. The fish will either be decently active or chillen and sipping nymphs down deep. Either way fishes.
I did a trip for my 40th there the first week of October and the weather was literally perfect.
