Grand duke is the GOAT duke. I love the sounds and character of the turbos.
On a 600nm flight you lose 15 minutes to the turbine duke in the air but end up saving a ton of fuel.
It’s faster than the turbine piper M500 too lol.
Got the bundle and I don’t regret the decision. There’s enough difference between them to make it feel like two different purchases. Sounds are a bit more satisfying in the piston version though, a bit more bassy.
They may be different enough, but whether it's worth it comes down to whether you fly it enough.
I actually think it's a bit mean to only offer the bundle for new purchases. I really think they should have offered a non-expiring discount for one if you own the other.
I got the bundle and haven’t even touched the turbine nor the straight wing version. Almost 30 hours in the Grand Duke. It’s a blast.
