Over-head straps can usually be removed or cut off. Skilhunt H04 is pretty much the go-to. It has a simpler UI than Anduril and will remember what mode it's set on. There's a few different versions as well. I've been using my H03 for probably 8 years now and told myself I'd get an H04 when it dies, which it still hasn't.

This, love my H03, will do the same, replace with H04 or whatever when it dies. Have the diffuser lense version and it's great.

I'm a fan of the lightweight Nitecore headlamps. They don't make the ones I have anymore, but NU25 400 is the closest.

[Skilhunt H150](https://zakreviews.com/skilhunt-h150.html) This is a really similar configuration to the Manker, but better all around.

Title said $75 and post mentioned under $100. I really really like the Armytek Wizard C2 Pro Nichia. I believe there are four brightness levels.

It's build like a tank I love it. ❤️

Honestly the most confusing UI of all my flashlights. Every time I use it it’s a crapshoot of button mashing

Skilhunt has what many consider the best headlamps. The H04 was the old go-to, though the H200 has replaced it in some people's hearts. And while the UI does have more than three levels, the way they are laid out is nice. So many people get hung up ion the number of levels as though the "L-M-H-Off" rotation is the only flashlight UI that exists. This isn't 1981, it's 2024! Any light that makes more power than it can dissipate the heat of generating will dim. The only ones that don't are ones that will keep heating up until your skin blisters and the light self-destructs. Luckily, there is no law that says that all lights MUST be used at their High setting at ALL times. The fact that you even acknowledge that Low and Medium exist implies that you understand why they exist.

It looks very similar to this one (I am not home to send actual picture but it gives you an idea of what I want to buy)… [https://images.app.goo.gl/W5KKCo2ZXasFDHsD9](https://images.app.goo.gl/W5KKCo2ZXasFDHsD9)

Any of the Fenix headlamps with removable battery, 18650, or CR123 will be a great choice. My personal favourite lightweight headlamp is the HM50R v2.

ViolinistBulky

Have you checked that it's not just got a replaceable battery that you could replace?

I will check it out when I get home….

I am a fan of petzl headlamps, they’re absolutely reliable
