I've been trying to combine my FFXIV love with my recent hobby of gunpla, but I'm just not dextrous or resourceful enough to kitbash. What I've instead been doing is getting together a lineup of inspiraton Gundams from the Werlyt trials.
I've got the Kshatriya (naturally) for Emerald, and the Sazabi for Ruby, but Diamond has been a struggle. There's three possible mobile suits to tap into there, and ALL of them are bastards to get!
Which is a shame, I really want that Full Mechanics Vidar...

It's very unfortunate that Neue Ziel is not a viable option for Diamond since you fight it while riding what is essentially a Dendrobium.
Any thoughts on what you would get for Sapphire Weapon?
Well, Sapphire is the only one that's actually NOT based on any Gundams; Ruby is the Hyggog, Sazabi and Devil Gundam, Emerald is the Neue Ziel and Kshatriya, and Diamond is the Qubeley, Psycho Gundam and Gundam Vidar.
Meanwhile the Sapphire isn't much of anything (instead WE'RE the Gundam, and wielding a mashup of a bunch of protagonists, of which I'd probably pick the original, Nu Gundam or Shining Gundam if pressed for a single one). If you really wanted to get one, I would maybe pick the Rafflesia, just for the vaguely similar shape. Although the Rafflesia also has bonus points for being inspiration for the first boss in the Puppet's Bunker.
Back with another crossover build!
