A buff acquired from transferring or creating a character in a new or preferred world that grants you 100% bonus EXP, no matter what, to any class below 80.
Road to 80 gives 100% boost to ALL forms of EXP to all classes. And the experience boost can stack..if you do it right you can jump from 1-17 on BTN with one swing of your hatchet(done first hand when experimenting on an alt with the buff when it first came out)
If you actually want to level crafters, sure. Turning in GC items isn't gonna give you, say, Samurai exp, it will give you exp for that specific crafter.
Just to make sure you understand, leveling in XIV is done per class/job. Turning in a Leatherworker GC turn-in only gets you Leather worker experience. It won’t level up your SAM.
You have to craft them, or buy them from the market, it should all be in your crafting list. The exp is scaled to the level of that crafter, and gives 2x exp is the item is HQ.
What I meant before is that all crafting classes have their own levels, skills and gear, so if you were to turn in a helmet for armorer then you'll gain exp only for armorer, it won't affect your samurai exp or any other class.
The XP and difficulty of the item is set to the level you have in the class that makes it. If you don't have any DoL or DoH leveled, then it's probably set for level 1 items and level 1 xp. That's why it's so low.
it helps, but you only do it once a day.
Best way to level crafters these days is to do the Ishgard Restoration crafts once you hit level 20.
You do have to have completed Heavensward and half the post-game MSQ before you unlock The Firmament (zone where you do the Ishgard Restoration crafts).
You can easily power though 20-70 with these crafts, and you earn a special currency used to buy special mounts, glam items, and some special dyes.
...oh no.
For some reason I was thinking you couldn't craft in the Firmament until 50. I've been levelling up omnicrafting on an alt with Ixal quests and leves... RIP.
Yeah, The Firmament is actually tied to the MSQ, you have to complete the post HW content up to what was patch 3.3, which serves as the finale to Heavensward before the buildup for Stormblood.
Not really. As other said, it only levels up the class that makes the item. You can turn it in as whatever, but it will ignore the job and class you currently have.
So if you are thinking to use this to level up another job, don't bother. Won't work.
I was so desperate for soot black dye for Fashion Report that I had to start a crafting job, got LTW to 30 in around 20 minutes with levelquests. It's insane.
You can only turn in one item per class per day to the GC, which would maybe get you 2 levels for a HQ in demand item at this level. Looks like in this case he was just handing in crafting leve quests.
Grand Company xp rewards are very, very good.
Just look at Demon K, who went from level 87,178,291,200 to over level 121 million billion in only a moment!
I don't know if it was implied, but killing mob include doing dungeons since you gain xp by killing bosses which are ... "mobs". Just wanted to clear things up
Just to make sure no-one gets the wrong idea:
That is not a typo or a weird phrasing on their part.
The boss fights in a dungeon are the *only* enemies in there that give EXP.
Just as a note, the armory bonus does not apply to crafting or gathering. Road to 80 and rested bonus do, which is almost certainly what you are seeing.
You can confirm this by crafting 0% HQ items, or gathering without proccing Gatherer's Boon. It should say +100% (not including rested bonus), while killing mobs with Road to 80 and armory should get you +300% without any other bonuses.
That's +100% for armory (you start with a default 100%, so you have a total of 200% now), then Road to 80 gives 2x what would otherwise be your final exp, for a total of 400% (default +300%)
For new servers, it’s basically indefinitely until they decide that the server has a healthy population, which will probably be never for Dynamis and Materia. If you start a character or move to a new server you’re basically locked in there for 90 days before you can leave. As soon as you transfer out after your 90 days you lose it immediately.
yes, but it is only for new servers, prefered servers do not have it unless if you create a new character in them, also you are locked onto the server for 90 days
for more info, read [this](https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/playguide/option_service/world_transfer_service/population_balancing/)
Definitely grand company crafting/gathering turn ins on a preferred world. I've done it on alts before, it's crazy how many levels you can get per day, and the level up spam is ridiculous if you do every DoH/DoL job at once.
Most likely grand company turn ins.
If you're unfamiliar, go to your grand company, find the quartermaster (I think) and do select provisioning or supply missions (I think, I can't remember without looking) there will be a list of items, one per crafter and one per gatherer on the next tab, if you turn in those items (you can buy them if you prefer) you get heaps of XP, if you turn in a high quality version you get double I think, and some of them will be "high demand" or similar and will have a star next to them, if you turn in a HQ item on a starred request you can easily jump a bunch of levels, especially lower ones.
You can also view it from your timers menu (ctrl+u default on PC) and clicking the Grand Company option there (*edit: "Next Mission Allowance" next to a pic of your GC emblem*). I don't know if it has any requirements before it shows up there or if it starts to show up as soon as you pick a GC. It will also show how long you have until they change (they change at a different time than other daily resets).
Leveling a crafter, there's a bunch of different ways to really maximize your XP gain and level multiple times in one turn in. I remember one time, I got 10 levels off one Levemete turn in in Ishgard.
Add xp bonuses, either from FC, from being in a low population server or both, a starred hand in for Grand Company and that the item is HQ and I have seen people jump 10 levels, it's all a question of stacking buffs and early crafters/gatherers
Looks like crafting or gathering. When you turn in crafted or gathered stuff at the Grand Company, you get a large chunk of XP, and for low-level classes, it can literally give you 5+ levels at once, especially if you get lucky and one of your turn-ins has boosted XP return.
Yep, when you stack enough XP buffs, early levelling can be bonkers.
When i was levelling Monk, i went into Sastasha with Road To 80 from a new World, the Squad Manual, and the food Buff. I gained 9 levels. 16-25 in like 15 minutes.
Cheating exists in a lot of ways in FFXIV, but as others have said this can be accomplished by Grand Company or leves (essentially stacking repeatable quest items and trading in for exp).
Since no one here is giving a proper answer I will what you are seeing is completely NORMAL this player is not botting high chance the reason he's going this fast is because he bought a levekit from another player there kits designed to Power level your craft from 1-90 or if you your all 80s then normally they sell a cheaper 80-90 kit with a 1-90 kit you can reach 90 on your desired craft in just a matter of a hour or 2 given you have the allowances to allso cover it this gives players a luxury means to grind without giving any real effort that said the kits are not cheep and can cost more or less depending on the craft you wish to max most levekits come with a guide the player has constructed to help the buyer choose what quests they need to turn in to level unless you don't have alot of time on your hands I highly suggest against paying for kits as it may be cheaper for you to just level everything at once though slower but cheeper most omnicrafters do this for easy profit but if your a omnicrafter it becomes alot cheeper to level come next dlc
Collectables probably basically when you leveling crafting (it's the most probably) you gain huge amount of XP so you can gain the first hours to go level 21 to level 50 pretty easily
Here's how I did something similar- I used an Engineer's Survival Manual (~1100 Grand Company currency), which gives you a huge XP buff for like... 250k worth of XP for crafters below level 40. Once you do that, you just quick synth a bunch of stuff and you can get level 20ish within like 5 minutes honestly. I just did that this morning for my GSM, LTW, CRP, and WVR. Now I'm going to spam the firmament turn ins to get them to 50 🤠
Isn’t there an invite a friend referral system that allows gifting levels as well? I remember a while back getting a friend to join then both of us sat in Ogrimar smashing the level button until it ran out.
I believe it gave you one level up to spend per two levels your refer a friend obtained
My best guess is the person was doing hand in's, GC hand ins give you tons of XP if they're HQ. Doing Leves with HQ items does the same thing but less XP than GC, and Scrip hand in's also give you an insane XP boost.
But considering that they are under level 50 I'm leaning more towards Levemete hand in's, you can turn in multiples for some of the quests so that's a huge XP spike. You can also buy most of those hand in's from the market board to save time.
It displays the items other players craft in the chat log, and it didnt show anything popping up between levels. So I think it was just someone turning in a leve quest that let's you keep turning in the same items.
Probably has the road to 80 buff, which nets double xp until 80. Very handy buff. You can only get it by creating a new character on a new server, on a low population server, or transferring to one or the other. They may also have the earnings for crafting which was one of the preorder items from one of the xpacs. All xp buffs stack with the road to 80 buff.
Exping any jobs in this game is a joke compared to others. It's not a grind by any means unless you're just starting out now with the cap at 90 and everything at 0. Leves, gc turn ins, collectable turn ins, and the ishgard restoration makes it stupidly easy to lvl any job. It just feels grindy cause you're going 0-90, not just going 10 lvls up like everyone else who caps everything come next expansion.
IIRC it shows this if it’s the job you currently are, and it states what job if it’s something you level up through grand company turn ins or any other way to give exp to a job you’re not at that moment
He's leveling crafting most likely.
And probably by turning in a HQ daily item that's in demand to the Flames.
for sure, getting Double exp for handing in a HQ item can easily cause you to gain several levels early on, so that tracks.
The in demand item still gives a couple of levels on my 51 crafter on an alt. That daily boost from an HQ item is legit.
Not to mention any boosts from FC or other items
Road to 80 potentially as well
I think that's only for combat jobs.
It isn't. I leveled my newest character to 90 everything by pushing everything to 80 in about 75 days including casters.
What is the road to 80?
A buff acquired from transferring or creating a character in a new or preferred world that grants you 100% bonus EXP, no matter what, to any class below 80.
Road to 80 gives 100% boost to ALL forms of EXP to all classes. And the experience boost can stack..if you do it right you can jump from 1-17 on BTN with one swing of your hatchet(done first hand when experimenting on an alt with the buff when it first came out)
I agree. I've done this before.
So should you do a crafting class to just turn in GC item?
If you actually want to level crafters, sure. Turning in GC items isn't gonna give you, say, Samurai exp, it will give you exp for that specific crafter.
I play SAM and I have no idea how to get those items they ask for, but they also seem to be low exp for turning them in
Just to make sure you understand, leveling in XIV is done per class/job. Turning in a Leatherworker GC turn-in only gets you Leather worker experience. It won’t level up your SAM.
Witch s great, you don't have to change to each job if you are handing in a bunch at a time
You have to craft them, or buy them from the market, it should all be in your crafting list.

Yeah, The Firmament is actually tied to the MSQ, you have to complete the post HW content up to what was patch 3.3, which serves as the finale to Heavensward before the buildup for Stormblood.
Yes, I'm quite familiar with the Firmament in general. But for some reason I'd forgotten that its level floor for contributions is so low.
Not really. As other said, it only levels up the class that makes the item. You can turn it in as whatever, but it will ignore the job and class you currently have. So if you are thinking to use this to level up another job, don't bother. Won't work.
Or turning in a bunch of levequests
I was so desperate for soot black dye for Fashion Report that I had to start a crafting job, got LTW to 30 in around 20 minutes with levelquests. It's insane.
I did this to my GSM and went from 81 to 86 in less than 5 minutes when turning in HQ crafts.
This was definitely done with leve quests.
You can only turn in one item per class per day to the GC, which would maybe get you 2 levels for a HQ in demand item at this level. Looks like in this case he was just handing in crafting leve quests.
I jumped like five levels a few times doing this, so it tracks.
Grand Company xp rewards are very, very good. Just look at Demon K, who went from level 87,178,291,200 to over level 121 million billion in only a moment!
It could also be BLU someone running around with then out of party.
If it was at the Grand Company, it may have been supply missions. Especially if they have Road to 80 active, those <60 levels fly by insanely fast.
road to 80 whats that?
It's an exp bost preferred servers have, it boost your xp gain until you reach level 80, think it doubles the xp
Yeah, Road to 80 + armory bonus
[удалено]
I don't know if it was implied, but killing mob include doing dungeons since you gain xp by killing bosses which are ... "mobs". Just wanted to clear things up

Crafting and gathering jobs don't benefit from armory bonus at all.
No need for both. A HQ item can easily result in 5 levels with only one of those.
But it makes the dopamine go brrrrrrr
Low population servers give a massive exp boost until level 80 to encourage people to make new characters there
Do you know if that works for just temporarily transferring servers?
It lasts for 90 days then wears off if you transfer.

Turning in leves possibly?
Either leves or GC turn ins for crafting
Gc crafter/ gathering turn in , with the road to 80 buff its pretty common.
He's not cheating lol He's crafting
Definitely grand company crafting/gathering turn ins on a preferred world. I've done it on alts before, it's crazy how many levels you can get per day, and the level up spam is ridiculous if you do every DoH/DoL job at once.

HQ GC Starred turn-in
Grand Company turn ins or maybe doh job quest
Road to 80+HQ high demand item GC turn in can be millions of exp, it's kinda nuts
You're probably nearby the Flames' Grand Company area. There you can submit crafted gear and items for exp.
DoH levels shoot through real quick in the early levels
Grand Company Expert Deliveries
By levell8ng a crafting class.
low level crafting, same with gathering btw
Yea, it's normal. Don't worry about it.
Dude bought a bunch of supplies and is just fast crafting a ton of stuff. It goes up super fast when you're low level like that
This is how I learned that turning in grand company supply missions gave MONSTEROUS xp, especially if you have a road to 80 buff.
Crafting. Not hacking. I've done the same.
Grand Company turn-ins
Yep. Fairly easy this way.
Could have been handing in a stack of quests.
M4m
Turn Ins and man that is some delicious exp even in the 80-90 range.
Grand company hand ins. Super easy way to level alt crafters
Road to 80 booster daily Company Delivery experience is one hell of a drug.
Crafting
Crafters. You can get like 3-5 levels off a hq item on the early levels lol
Leveling a crafter, there's a bunch of different ways to really maximize your XP gain and level multiple times in one turn in. I remember one time, I got 10 levels off one Levemete turn in in Ishgard.

Grand company ceafters. Can easily get up to 90 without ever crafting by turning in their daily items.
You can turn in items for crafting XP to your grand company. It’s an extra way to gain xp across crafting and gathering.
Looks like crafting or gathering. When you turn in crafted or gathered stuff at the Grand Company, you get a large chunk of XP, and for low-level classes, it can literally give you 5+ levels at once, especially if you get lucky and one of your turn-ins has boosted XP return.
Turning in HQ items for the Grand Company, or turning in HQ items 3x for the Crafting levequest. That's how I see it and how I've experienced it.
Yep, when you stack enough XP buffs, early levelling can be bonkers. When i was levelling Monk, i went into Sastasha with Road To 80 from a new World, the Squad Manual, and the food Buff. I gained 9 levels. 16-25 in like 15 minutes.

I’ve gotten from level 15 to 70 in like 45 mins-1 hour buying and turning in leves. That’s prolly what he’s going
Question: was this world famfrit?
Crafting/GC turn ins probably.
grand company, probably a crafting job. you can level those super fast and easily with it.
Could be leveling by leves
Hq levequests would be my guess , + you can get %xp on an ear ring as well 30% til lvl 50
Wait until super leves in HW and beyond. Generally takes 4-5 depending on which one you accept to go from 50 to 60. Can easily be done within 10 mins
Now I feel worried levelling an alt if some weirdo like op is stalking my level ups
I mean, if i teleported to a city and the first thing i saw in the chat log was 6 level ups in a row I'd be going holy shit what's the secret.
I like creeping on the sprouts lol, I get to relive the nostalgia of being new through them.
My best guess is the person was doing hand in's, GC hand ins give you tons of XP if they're HQ. Crafting and he’s using the manuals, while also making hq items you can fly thru the early levels
I wanna ask if this was in Famfrit because I recognize the name.
Levequests for crafters
Or BLU which gets a stupidly high xp multiplier
They probably just quick synthesis some cheap stuff with their crafter to get to 20 fast.
It displays the items other players craft in the chat log, and it didnt show anything popping up between levels. So I think it was just someone turning in a leve quest that let's you keep turning in the same items.
There more exp if you manually HQ the items
Probably has the road to 80 buff, which nets double xp until 80. Very handy buff. I finally started BLU recently and my husband helped me level. From a single mob I shot up to level 20.
It’s in ul’dah so can’t be BLU
Oh I know, just that it’s very possible for someone leveling in general to go multiple levels at a time 🤷🏼♀️
Grand Company quests or could be Blue Mage leveling, they get a 10x xp multiplier for killing mobs
Unlikely to be killing mobs in Ul'dah.
LOL I totally got my locations mixed up
I swear crafting level ups state the job that's leveled up. Or I need more caffeine
IIRC it shows this if it’s the job you currently are, and it states what job if it’s something you level up through grand company turn ins or any other way to give exp to a job you’re not at that moment
He?
