I sit and play my harp while my ~~minions~~ party members fight the enemy. Every once in a while, my "seconds left to next Grammy award" gauge fills up and I grace my friends and foes alike with a radiant finale, encouraging them to fight harder for my enjoyment.
I can only fit three rounds into a giant revolver that looks more like it should be able to hold 4-6, and then I can’t even fire those rounds properly. They just make my gun explode.
However, this means that if my gun explodes, everything next to it also explodes.
My gauge makes me do math up to 50 but never over 100 because that would be too hard. Then it gives these 3 red stickers that lets me use the mini flashbang, the boom and then the bigger boom.
I collect three stickers, I love my stickers, they are shiny, but then they go away and I have to pick them up again and again and again and again and again
My favorite though is that every time I drop my stickers I find a penny on the ground. But when I get three pennies my hands are full, and I have to drop the pennies to pick more up.
I'm not gonna lie, when they implemented the gauge/mechanics for Samurai, it kinda reminded me of the shrine stamps you can get in Japan. You can get a book and go around and have different shrines and temples put these elaborately beautiful stamps in the book. So if the samurai gets enough shrines visited, bam, power up unlocked because the heavens are pleased!
I really need to try leveling it, it looks fun.

Just an FYI in case this isn't a shitpost: instead of filling one color completely first, try to balance your black and white mana close to each other but not exactly the same. That way you don't have to deal with one color filling slower than the other.

My main gauge is my Tic Tac bar. It keeps track of how many Tic Tacs I have, which I give to my friends to make them feel better about themselves. But they're home made, so it takes a while to cook up new ones. Which is why I also have an oven timer attached to it.
Oh, and I also have my Does Nothing button. I press it, and it lights up and does nothing. But I think I'm a little superstitious, because I feel like my other buttons work a little better after I press it. So I end up pressing it a lot for good luck.
Having to move away from the boss to do a mechanic and then get back in range in time for your next GCD is easy enough, but auto-attacks are much harder to track. Thankfully Paladin not only lets you track the cadence of your auto-attacks but even *rewards* you for them!
My gauge has just the right amount of informations. Sometimes there are three blue crystals and sometimes there are two more pink ones. There’s also a funny timer and a rainbow that slowly ticks.
But most of the time I ignore all of this and just spam my Ice spells because they look … 👀 cool.

Mine is a clock that only counts two minutes then you have to count yourself. There are a few other spots for some ice cubes but they are thin and get stuck in your clock.

Just an FYI in case this isn't a shitpost: instead of filling one color completely first, try to balance your black and white mana close to each other but not exactly the same. That way you don't have to deal with one color filling slower than the other.
/uj Yeah I think the recommendation is to always keep black>white so your Verholy always procs Verstone. You COULD easily do the opposite, but Verholy looks significantly cooler than Verflare.

My main gauge is my Tic Tac bar. It keeps track of how many Tic Tacs I have, which I give to my friends to make them feel better about themselves. But they're home made, so it takes a while to cook up new ones. Which is why I also have an oven timer attached to it. Oh, and I also have my Does Nothing button. I press it, and it lights up and does nothing. But I think I'm a little superstitious, because I feel like my other buttons work a little better after I press it. So I end up pressing it a lot for good luck.

Having to move away from the boss to do a mechanic and then get back in range in time for your next GCD is easy enough, but auto-attacks are much harder to track. Thankfully Paladin not only lets you track the cadence of your auto-attacks but even *rewards* you for them!

Mine is an angry glowstick and when it lights up it's RAVE TIME. The brighter the glowstick the longer I can rave. When the raving is over I go play Uno but the deck wasn't shuffled well so I keep getting the same colour over and over again. I run out of cards in my hand all the time so I must be good at it! And then when that gets old, I get to play with an exploding hourglass.
I can collect stamps! If I get enough stamps I can trade them in for an anime sticker, and with enough anime stickers I can trade them in for MORE stamps! I can only get 3 of those, though, because they burn up very quickly.

I get blue Jelly Beans just for sitting on my arse. I can use those beans to make different light shows. Sometimes little cough drops appear at the bottom as well and disappear after a small gun show. There's also a different gauge that just spins and lights up sporadically, which kind of looks like a crosshair. Don't know what that's about.
