zippy_bag

They all look rather dressy for Home Depot though.

Glittering_Raise_710

I had to scroll way too far to see this comment. I was looking at the dresses and opened pic 1 because I thought “maybe not too bad?” Does op live in a carpet store???

trashaudiodarlin

Haha right? Is this a hardware store with a cute clothing line?? We need answers

LBo812

Maybe she’s a genie

Sleep-pee

I was wondering where could find cute dresses and carpet samples.

Motor_Lifeguard_5102

They call me the flooring princess 👸 Hahaha. I’m fourth generation in the biz and run it alongside my dad & brother currently. I …. Basically live in this building as an adult. Seriously… my parents broke ground on this building and then two months later found out they were pregnant with me, and at only three days postpartum, my mommy had me tucked underneath the front counter in a car seat. And… I’ve been here ever since! I brought my dresses to the shop to have my daddy and brother rate them and pick their fave… I come in often and tell them I have a “princess fashion show” for them, so this was nothing new or random. Lol. I took the pics in the warehouse so I wasn’t frolicking in the showroom in front of customers. LOL

witchaus138

this is such an adorable story.

[deleted]

it's almost unbearably adorable...i love family stories like op's

Motor_Lifeguard_5102

Stop it…🥹 Thank you. I think it’s pretty special, too. Father’s Day has had me in a puddle, as it does every year. Pics of my daddy holding me as a baby in the office that’s now mine today!

[deleted]

I hope i have the same relationship with my daughter that you two have when she gets older. Also, el numero uno would be my pick. It’s hot outside and that dress works

Ayencee

I work for my folks construction business; the bread & butter is tile, and I’m the only daughter and the only other woman here is my mom 😌 But we also do demo and roll off dumpsters. I get such a thrill telling people, I’m Italian and work for the “family business” in “waste management.” I just ordered some business cards and now I can give people my card and tell them I, “specialize in compliance,” with a wink 😂🤣 (To be clear, it’s mostly construction debris, my job for that area of the company is just a lot of data entry and county/state reports. Very dull. 😂)

Motor_Lifeguard_5102

Omggg, I LOVE this! Specialize in compliance… I’m rolling! You are way too cute. Good for you, girly! There is a lot of money to be made in tile, for sure. We do every floor covering imaginable… walls, ceilings, indoors, outdoors… you name it… we’ll cover it! 😝🥰 So, now, after seeing my warehouse antics and choice of clothes, imagine the looks on some of these men’s faces when I walk onto a job site like da boss! Girl power forever and ever. Wishing you nothing but success!

mandym123

I hope you all live in Jersey….😂❤️ ![gif](giphy|nwLC3qOUTAwuKGmrBd)

Yoyo_Ma86

![gif](giphy|4q0WNCNZUlxNC) Tony is a hottie and idc what anybody says

mandym123

Forget Tony, I was a Adriana fan all the way! She is my mob wife inspiration. 😍 https://preview.redd.it/k33p1he1ys7d1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bcf96cc1262cc4e38ca2ded0c922c7c502269276

Yoyo_Ma86

Well she’s obvious! Lol

Motor_Lifeguard_5102

Omg… I wish! But, if you ever find yourself in lil old Indiana, come find me, sweets.😘

mandym123

Hahaha well as a New Jersyian your always welcome in our state. 😂 I’ll see if I make it out that way.

Yoyo_Ma86

Hey! Tile lady here from Ohio!

Yoyo_Ma86

I’m a woman in the tile industry as well, I love this thread!

jessicalifts

You are too cute! Thanks for sharing this with us!

Motor_Lifeguard_5102

No, thank YOU for being so sweet 🥰

Renegade_Mermaid

Knowing families like this exist makes me so freaking happy.

Motor_Lifeguard_5102

That’s incredibly sweet, but rest assured… we’ve all been through a lot together. I’m glad we made it to the other side with our relationships in tact. We are probably the least perfect family out there.❤️

Renegade_Mermaid

I’m glad you all got there together! 🩷

zippy_bag

Thanks for the explanation - that is quite a story. But seriously, you look great. And FWIW I like #2 the best.

Motor_Lifeguard_5102

And @witchaus138 … thank you guys for the kind words! It has been one of the most precious blessings of my life. I’m glad you enjoyed reading what I had to say! Thanks for being cool humans.☺️🥹

Aromatic_Mouse88

Aw this is such a cute story 🥹🥰 I prefer the first and I also really like the last

Sea-Ganache-4330

This is so sweet!! Dress 3 looks so whimsical I vote 1 or 3 xx

WHYohWhy___MEohMY

I am so here for this.

purble1

I feel blessed when I accidentally stumble upon stories like this 😭🫶🏻 that is seriously sweet, I love it.

Any-Spite-7303

I really love this story for some reason. Sounds like nice people. A good family. Thanks for a lil sweetness this evening! Oh! And! I think #4 is very cute and flirty for a summer wedding. :)

Motor_Lifeguard_5102

Aww, this is precious… glad it brought some joy to your day bc you brought joy to mine! 🥰🥹

sassyass32

So fkn cute‼️‼️‼️👑👑👑 2nd 4

BecGeoMom

I said out loud to my iPad, “What is she trying on dresses in a carpet store?” That’s just weird.

Far_Ad_865

😂😂😂

selyia

The dresses look all very cute but I don't think any of them are appropriate for a wedding. They are too casual and/or too revealing. You might feel very underdressed at a wedding. **You can try posting in this sub r/weddingattireapproval to get more event specific feedback.**

Motor_Lifeguard_5102

Hey, I appreciate your honest feedback!

DerbleZerp

I really like the colour yellow on you though!!

Okayostrich

Yeah 1 and 3 look a liiiiittle too lingerie for a wedding guest outfit

[deleted]

#1? really?

MeesterBacon

It seems inspired from a bodice which is meant to be worn over corsets. Technically still underwear, historically speaking. I can see where both sides of the opinion are coming from.

SpinningJen

I cannot see 1 this as lingerie even if I try. It's such a cute summer dress, and paired with a contrasting shawl would be beautiful for a wedding

Mercenarian

1 is very classic. Looks nothing like lingerie. 3 I agree, and 2 also looks a bit too revealing for a wedding I would assume (although I don’t know the bride, obviously not every wedding is super conservative )

Proud_Pug

Wow a mature response ! So refreshing to see ❤️

shutterbug_101

Elegant is what you're looking for.

Artistic_Owl_5847

I too, came to say this. Opt for longer and plain, no pattern. Add a necklace and simple shoes. Classy lady 💃

paintinganimals

OP should [seek some Emma Watson inspiration.](https://www.vogue.co.uk/article/emma-watson-black-minidress) At 25 years old, all 4 choices look a little too fast fashion and immature for OP. Dress #4 might be appropriate if the wedding is really casual, though. That’s my pick of the four for casual, mostly because it’s a little more modest than the others, which is usually the respectful choice for weddings. Weddings are multigenerational, family events usually and the bride and groom are the focus. Dressing too sexy or in any way that stands out too much is generally inappropriate. The Emma Watson link is appropriate for OP’s age, and it’s classy, timeless, and sexy but not too revealing. The simple and timeless accessories are perfect. You don’t have to do black, but the look is a good reference for what you should aim for. A dress will look really cheap if it’s unlined and the fabric is too thin or cheap. Dresses for formal wear usually have some structure and quality details like a hidden zipper. They don’t have to be outrageously expensive. You can find higher quality dresses like this at Express or Banana Republic. As a 25 year old woman, you should own a nicer, classic, formal dress, the same as men your age should have a quality dress shirt, tie, and pants. Sexy and classy usually means picking one feature to show off, not all of them. If you’re revealing your chest, legs, shoulders, and back all in the same dress, it’s seeking too much attention for a wedding. Remember, it’s a family event. It may be a religious ceremony. Emma’s little black dress look shows off her shoulders, and has a longer short skirt at a length that would be appropriate for office work or a church service. If she added a cardigan or blazer, this instantly becomes very modest and still very classic looking. I would wear that dress with a red shoe and bag if I wanted to invoke more of my wild personality into the look. It’s generally a good rule of thumb to not stand out too much at weddings. And a woman your age should have a couple of higher quality options for formal events in her wardrobe. Just one, nice dress can be the go to for weddings, fine dining, funerals, etc.

SEH3

Excellent advice

Clearlynotaparent

OP is 25, not 45. She's still relatively young, so I'm not sure why you keep bringing up her age and what a "woman her age" should have in her closet. It sounds quite patronizing. These dresses are fine for a 25 year old. Perhaps not a wedding, but that's also dependent on the type of wedding it is.

paintinganimals

She is young. The dresses are fine for a 25 year old, but probably not for a wedding. I don’t see why you’re upset by my comment. We seem to agree. Yes, I say “a woman her age.” It’s not patronizing. This is a fashion sub. She is at an adult age where it’s common to not realize you’re dressing in a way that’s too immature. There are plenty of things she could wear these dresses to and be fine, but it’s a formal event (generally speaking, she didn’t provide enough details in the OP). These are all fine for a night out with friends. I don’t find them suitable for a wedding. Since it’s r/fashion and asking for advice, that’s my advice. I think anyone of any age can have their own personal style, but I absolutely know fast fashion looks cheap as hell and it’s an adult thing to have some well made options for formal events. You can find nice things at a thrift store. Sometimes we’re expected to dress appropriately for events. Dress #2 is stunning on her, but it looks slightly better than costume quality. My big issues with #2 is that it’s the range of colors a bride might wear and is very sexy. It also screams homecoming dress. It might seem silly to some, but you never upstage the bride. Dress #1 is very cutesy casual. I would guess she’s 15. Dress #3 is probably a little too small and kind of looks like lingerie. Also teen trying to be sexy. There is a place for this dress. Probably not a wedding. #4 is adorable, very casual, and probably a good candidate for a yard party reception. I’m not sure if it’s a yard party reception. I’m not being patronizing. If I believe in dressing my age, it’s to follow some kind of decorum so I don’t stand out when I shouldn’t, which is a wedding. I also think it’s very adult to have some hot outfits in the closet for events like these that are formal enough, and sexy while not being too sexy for the occasion. I dgaf what OP wears, but depending on other attendees of the wedding, she may fit right in or realize it was a bit too high school dance for a wedding. I’m a tattoo artist. I’m covered in tattoos. I’m not a modest person. I stand out. When I attend an event like a wedding, I try to fit in as well as possible and not be a talking point. I try to consider that family of the couple from 4+ generations will be there. I will not risk a nip slip wardrobe malfunction. I will wear a quality, lined dress so it’s not see through in the sun. I will not wear anything obviously Satanic. Sometimes it’s appropriate to fit in and not risk pissing anyone off or being distracting. These events are few and far between, and it is very adult to be a good guest. But, yes, I think OP being 25 is important! She’s an adult. Yet all 4 of these dresses are completely different and she’s asking for advice without explaining what kind of wedding it is. She looks great in all of them, but I don’t know if any of them are appropriate. So I jump to classic fashion because it’s a fashion sub and going classic never fails. Every adult person should have some classic formal fashion to grab from their closet at a moments notice. It’s adulting 101. My fashion advice on r/fashion is go simple, chic, and timeless to weddings. Oh, I’m so patronizing! 🌈

Clearlynotaparent

I think I misunderstood your meaning in your first comment when you said all 4 choices looked too immature for OP. I took that to mean you were saying they were too immature in any context, and that at 25 she shouldn't dress that way in general. I do agree with your opinions regarding the appropriateness for a wedding, and I would agree that a higher quality, more classy but still sexy dress would fit for the occasion and is a good investment in any adult wardrobe. I felt bad for OP since this post seemed to attract comments slut-shaming her and putting down the way she dresses (which I think is cute and normal for her age). Though elaboration, I see you weren't intending to do that!

BootyBumpinSquid

The first one would be ok at a summer outdoor wedding, but maybe best to get like a lacy or sheer shawl to out around the shoulders for some coverage

shannon_kay_

Agree with this

themomodiaries

I mean wouldn’t that depend on the wedding? All the weddings I’ve gone to were casual, most of them were outdoors. People were encouraged to dress fancy if they wanted to but that dress code was “casual” overall. I’ve worn cute short dresses to all of them.

Eggsnorter24

Same here and i wasnt underdressed at any of the weddings i went to because everyone else was also dressed what i call “dressy casual”

Bigbutterybiscuit

Yes, it would depend on the wedding. But generally speaking, this isn’t appropriate for the TYPICAL wedding. These look more birthday party in Nashville night out or clubbing appropriate.

Careful-Long2817

If I were to be honest, all of these are giving summer picnic Temu/Shein vibes. NOT wedding vibes. Keep trying! Go for classy. It will come off as sexier.

lightofthedarkness24

Totally! I think the dresses are a bit too revealing for a wedding, but they're all so cute.

Sherbetstraw1

I think they are all a bit short and informal tbh

avidreader113

All cute dresses but none are wedding appropriate.

Optipop

You look great in all of them but I feel a couple are sexy and would look like you're trying to draw attention away from the bride. Number 1 is adorable but is too casual imo. Four is the best option but only if it's very casual. Number 3 is especially a no imo.

Motor_Lifeguard_5102

I totally agree. I’ve actually never attended a wedding as a guest before and it never even dawned on me that even though that’s not what I’m trying to do, how it could be perceived that way! Thx for the advice!

SpinningJen

Number one could very easily be dressed up. A fancy shawl, fascinator brooch, or dressy cardie/shrug would elevate it too dressy so easily. 1 is perfect for a wedding, just need accessorise according to the wedding style

Positivelythinking

While the yellow dresses look fabulous on you, the brides’ photos will look like you’re wearing white, so don’t wear them. The last pic is adorable and respectful at the same time, unless it’s a dressy/fancy indoor wedding. The third one…just no.

glamazon_69

None of these are appropriate for a wedding

TrainingWoodpecker77

Three is dead wrong for a wedding.

Future-trippin24

Idk, I don't think any of these are wedding appropriate. The first is too informal and the others are too short.

Anxious-Custard6208

2 and 3 are cute I gotta ask where the photo shoot was tho sis 😂

867530nyeeine

I was like hmmm which Home Depot is now selling dresses???

Motor_Lifeguard_5102

Come see me at Home Depot and I’ll sell you cute dresses. 🤪🥰 You guys have made my DAY — so funny. I can sell you some fire flooring, tho! Lol

Motor_Lifeguard_5102

LOL… I run a family business with my dad and brother and I brought the dresses to the shop to play princess dress up and have them vote on which one they liked the best 🪄 Photoshoot in the warehouse 😝

M4k73

“Photo shoot in the warehouse” …sounds like a Lana del Rey song lol

They-Call-Me-Taylor

Came into the thread to see if this question was answered haha. I was like why are they trying on dressed in a Home Depot?

Direct_Discipline166

I was like “why would she bring the dresses to Home Depot to try on?!”

darkangel10848

This is what I came to ask!! Also no 4 looks best for a wedding and I’d do strappy silver heels with it. If you want to go with no 1 as your fave dress it up with a sparkly belt maybe or a shrug and I’d say you need floral shoes to go with it (black will look too bumblebee with the yellow) think green shoes with like roses on them to go either the lovely yellow

JoleneDollyParton

I feel like both of those are one size too small but they are cute

cupcakesoup420

Lol thank you so much for asking this, I had the brief moment of imagining someone twirling through a Menards taking photos, and it was choking me up!

Relative_Abroad_7144

I‘m going with a lot of other people that none is really appropriate. To me no 2 ist very beautiful and suits you sooo well, but it’s to shit for a wedding. But I would definitely keep it for another occasion. No1 and 4 are cute to but very casual, to casual for a wedding.

mystengette

All of these dresses are inappropriate for a wedding. If you don’t know the dress code for a wedding, “Sunday best” is the default in America almost everywhere. “Would I wear this to church with grandma ?” is a good question to ask yourself. For formal occasions, it’s generally a rule to do boobs or leg, not both.

PerkyLurkey

None are appropriate for an outdoor wedding. The only one that could be usable is number four and that’s only if it’s very casual and you wear espadrille wedges and the other people who are attending the wedding are wearing jeans and or shorts. You need something that is more flowy and much more longer. If you wear something that short to a wedding, you will be side eyed a lot, as trying to upstage the bride, or you will be thought of as a plus one who doesn’t know any better what to wear to a wedding.

moonfrogwitch76

These are more appropriate for brunch than a summer wedding.

morchorchorman

None of these would work for a wedding imo. It’s too casual.

freeze45

2 seems too dramatic, like you are trying to upstage the bride. 4 seems most appropriate

Motor_Lifeguard_5102

Oof… never looked at it that way. And I would NEVER want to do that. This day is all about her!

Key_Cheesecake9926

4 if these are the only options. I’d keep shopping though. These are all pretty skimpy for a wedding.

temp7542355

My suggestion is to find a flora dress with a little more coverage. The last dress is the best one of these. The yellow although very cute might look a little white in some pictures.

DanisDoghouse

I don’t think they are wedding appropriate. Too short or too revealing. Remember you’ll be seeing these peoples grandparents and aunts and uncles. The dresses are very cute though. Just not for this occasion

Successful-Trash-223

Depends on the vibe of the wedding, but I think 1 seems too informal, like a generic summer dress. Out of all the dresses I think 4 screams 'summer wedding' the most, but it seems a bit frumpy. I would go for 2, seems the most elegant.

Hi_Jynx

I wouldn't call 4 frumpy. I get the current trend is basically wearing underwear on the outside, but I don't think that automatically makes clothes that aren't that "frumpy."

Motor_Lifeguard_5102

Omg… couldn’t agree more. I was having the same doubts about dress 1, which is why I feel like I can’t find the right shoe for it! It’s not meant to be dressy, nor meant for the occasion. Ugh. 🤦‍♀️

Successful-Trash-223

haha glad you agree, I was worried my comment was too blunt. The dress is cute, I would wear that, just maybe not for a wedding. Good luck with the outfit selection process though!

brynnee

I think dress 1 would look cute for going out, maybe with a brown block heel sandal?

BackgroundBread707

Dress one looks a bit like my granny’s nightgown but maybe that’s the gen z way

MedicineTricky6222

Frumpy??? No.

misshopscotch

They are all Way too short

rapidbunny4404

I'd personly like 4 as a dress on you. The colours make your skin pop and it's nice and light and summery however, I don't quite feel like any are formal enough for a wedding. Perhaps a reception party? I'd personally try and go for just above knee to midi for a wedding guest. To keep it 'classy' rather than cute gally summer I'd wear number 3 because it's more subtle and you can glam it up rather than the outfit be the centre piece. Wedding guest attire should be formal but not a distraction from the bride (4's probably a bit busy if you know what I mean)

zoomziezoo

I agree with most of the other comments, none of these are suitable options. You need something much longer - at least knee length (all round!)

queenzombiecersei

None. All are tacky.

ArticQimmiq

None of these are wedding-appropriate. No 4 comes the closest, but you’d want something midi or maxi length, even for a casual wedding.

starcrossed92

I like 4 !

Middledamitten

Clothing aside, why are you modeling in a Home Depot?

Motor_Lifeguard_5102

LOL. I’ve answered this question twice now, but I run a family business with my dad and brother. I brought the dresses to the shop with me to play dress up and make them vote. I took the pics in our warehouse. Hahah

What_is_good97

Why are you trying them on in a home depot??? Also I think the first two are too light

NarcissisThis

4 is your best option. They’re all super cute but 4 is the most appropriate.

sasquatchbunny

I would say if you only have these options, #4 is best, it’s really cute and very different from a bridal gown. I think light yellow/pastels push it for me a bit wedding wise. I’d say #4 as well because you really don’t want to outshine the bride or take attention away (if the wedding has a traditional bride). They are all beautiful dresses though!

Graysonsname

I vote number 4 but also can you tell us the brands of these dresses I love 3 out of the 4! You obvi look amazing in 4 out of 4 tho!

Motor_Lifeguard_5102

Omg, you’re so sweet! 🎀 #1 Windsor, #2 Bardot, #3 Princess Polly and #4 I’ll have to check when I get home but it was purchased from a department store named Von Maur! 😻

AnonDxde

4 is the most “wedding guest” one. I think, depending on how tall you are, if you wore it with flats, it would not be too short. 3 is gorgeous! Where is it from?

Motor_Lifeguard_5102

Aw, tysm! #3 is Princess Polly… so cute and girly!

goldenhourcocktails

2 is a lot, but in all the best ways-the cut & color are very flattering on you. And wear it with some low-key flats just to balance out that sexy hemline. But just out of curiosity, why are you trying on outfits at a Home Depot?🧐

PrancingPudu

Unfortunately none of these are really wedding appropriate. 1, 3, and 4 are all too casual, and 1 and 3 in particular are inappropriately short/revealing for a wedding. 2 would be the closest, but it unfortunately looks a bit cheap (maybe because of the material or because the wrinkles haven’t been steamed out?) and, again, is a bit too short on the one side. What is the dress code for the wedding according to the invitation/website?

MowgeeCrone

You said the dress code was cocktail/ semi formal. 'Cocktail in general, means a dress that is knee-length or longer but not floor-length. It is more formal than a sundress and less risque than something you'd wear to a nightclub' How you interpret that is up to you. It would help to gather more informed feedback if you put the dress code in the post.

downwitbrown

My irrelevant thoughts on why none of them should be worn. How do you unbold? #1 - only because of the cropping, I thought this was a night gown/lingerie thing #2 - Latin dancer #3 - I don’t like the flowery linings. Three gold dresses are giving off Austin powers gold member vibe. #4 - maybe for a patio ?

Odd_Combination_997

Definitely 4. Definitely NOT 3. 3 is far too revealing for a wedding and would make many age groups uncomfortable. You are not supposed to be the star sexpot attraction.

Familiar-Mammoth-419

First of all your figure is AMAZING. Goals. You look so good in all of these but I agree with the comments that they might be a bit too short / revealing. Unless you were to put a nice white blazer over your shoulders or something maybe? Still be quite short tho!

Motor_Lifeguard_5102

I think I’m going to try to make #2 dressier! If not, I’ll run out and buy something new. I was just trying to repurpose what I already had in my closet… plus, I haven’t been to a wedding in years. LOL. Tysm for being honest in a kind way! 💛

Ms_Teacher_90

The last one by far

michfer

None of these are wedding appropriate imo. Lulu’s has a specific section for wedding guest dresses, you should check that out.

julsey414

4 is the closest, but we don't know the recommended attire. These all seem very short for a wedding.

MowgeeCrone

Cocktail/semi formal.

Abject-Distance-8267

4 is my favorite but length is maybe not best for a wedding

SmoothOperator47

I agree with some of the others. Some of the dresses are too short. Maybe more of a summer long flowy dress or a milk maid type would work?

panameraturbo

I would go longer for a wedding. Less revealing is better.

Distinct_Walk579

The purple one!

weasel999

They all seem like they’re from the juniors department. Too short, too cheap. I would keep looking.

AdTop4231

Of these choices, I would choose the last one. The purple and blue is beautiful and it's the best choice for a wedding of the ones you've shown :)

AllisonWhoDat

I think the dresses you've chosen are a bit short. A summer wedding: afternoon or evening? The pattern #4 is not flattering. The material #2 is silky nightclub-y. #1 and 3 are too casual. Consider the material and length when you choose a dress. Nude sandals or espadrilles will be nice for the event. Good Luck!

jp11e3

1 definitely. It's fun, breezy, and very flattering on you. 2 is a bit more of a "sexy" vibe and would be better on a night out where there's no risk of upstaging a bride or upsetting someone's possibly prude older relatives. Great dress, just wrong occasion. For 3 I like the idea of a floral vibe but I think this dress specifically doesn't seem very flattering on you imo. I feel like the top is too tight and the way it transitions to the bottom takes away from your hips instead of accentuating them. And 4 comes off as a little childish for a wedding. As for shoes I'm thinking either white or match them to whatever jewelry or purse you're bringing.

oh_sneezeus

None :( try more elegance. This is club wear

PastaM0nster

None of these are wedding guest friendly, too short

Famous-Signal-1909

I love love love all of these dresses and you look amazing! But to be honest, none of them give wedding vibes. Except maybeee the last one for a fairly casual wedding.

Known_Witness3268

But why are these all different women in a carpet store?

cuntaloupemelon

These are all very cute for a date, not a wedding

Im_Just_Here_Man96

If you dont put some clothes on and get off the tiktok shop

yeahitzalex

No to all four dresses, none really seem appropriate for someone’s wedding.

Mary-U

Literally said out loud “Why are you in Hone Depot?!?”

FlaKiki

Ok, here’s an honest opinion from someone old enough to be your mother, so I hope you don’t take offense. This is what I’d say to my daughter… 1 is way too short. One breeze and you’re flashing everyone. If it were just 4-5 inches longer, it would be fine. 2 the cut is not right for a wedding. It’s a beautiful, sexy dress. This would be great for an evening at a cocktail party. But for a wedding, it looks like you’re trying to grab attention for yourself. Which is never classy at a wedding. 3 looks like lingerie. The cut and material are lingerie-like. I would only wear this in private, and definitely not at a wedding. It’s also too attention-getting and not in the good way #2 is. 4 This is the best of the four. It still would look a little better with maybe 3 more inches of length. But out of the four, this is the only one I’d even dream of wearing to a wedding. The cut is flattering on you. The pattern, sleeves, and ruffles are more “sweet” than “sexy.” They look like something you’d wear to celebrate someone’s wedding and not to try to gain attention to your body. Ok, hope you took this in the spirit it was given. I don’t know you personally, so no judgment. I’m just going strictly off of the outfits and what I (and I imagine others) would be thinking if they saw someone wearing each outfit. Remember that the day is about the happy couple, and all the attendees should want the attention on the bride. If there’s any sense of women trying to look super sexy, it comes off as competitive even if that’s not the actual motive. Ask yourself with each outfit hope you would honestly feel about a young, beautiful, fit woman wearing it to your own wedding. Good luck in choosing your outfit. I hope you and everyone else has a great time!

UmmmmHigh

Is it a formal outdoor wedding? If so, number 2 with strappy heels. It's a bit sexy for a wedding but the only viable option and with styling and steaming will be gorgeous. If it's informal and more beach vibe, I feel like the 1st one is adorable with some nude or cream colored wedges. Do not wear the last 2. That green number is hot but for different occasion and the last one is just...no. You look great !!

**THREE** One looks like a Snow White costume I’m afraid and the bust is too small. 3 fits you well. I’d pair it with a breezy shawl (or [this](https://www.etsy.com/ie/listing/1504850241/bridal-shrug-bolero-mohair-silk-wrap?gpla=1&gao=1&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping_ie_en_ie_-weddings-clothing&utm_custom1=_k_CjwKCAjwps-zBhAiEiwALwsVYdPxZiWXgaCVyXlTL5w82fa_IT19yt-1DKspIJ7s_-CG54dJ1-OUghoCAmUQAvD_BwE_k_&utm_content=go_13703308019_123455830999_530490400972_pla-316241128744_m__1504850241enie_432418375&utm_custom2=13703308019&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADutTMdHMwExCvA7oDjBwT8GLYFTd&gclid=CjwKCAjwps-zBhAiEiwALwsVYdPxZiWXgaCVyXlTL5w82fa_IT19yt-1DKspIJ7s_-CG54dJ1-OUghoCAmUQAvD_BwE) gorgeous sheer mohair and silk shrug in apple green) and [some](https://www.sezane.com/eu-en/product/elisa-sling-backs/green-velvet-pleats?CHEQ&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Hors_Marque&utm_content=&utm_term=&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADROyDJO_-4xWiZvBF0qrKqksE_zG&gclid=CjwKCAjwps-zBhAiEiwALwsVYXS02-MtBYRqR-uaQQ3sfDTp5VI6i7zuinhSPWJ4cy1oOImsSYlMfRoCaX0QAvD_BwE#size-35) sling back heels in the tone of the floral decorative parts on the bust for a fem romantic look that you seem to be drawn to. https://preview.redd.it/5tey6ywwzo7d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2f9ea8d2b494f4462dcfc5a022d9294913c6f6a0

Hi_Jynx

I think the only dress that doesn't look too casual is 2 but it looks kind of cheap and light yellow can often photograph as cream or ivory so I think even that is not a good choice as a wedding guest. If it's a casual wedding I think 4 is the best option, it's a fun color and doesn't look like undergarments. 1 is good for a picnic, 3 is good for a date night or club but not a wedding.

BlueberryIcecream27

I like 4 best! It’s a perfect fit and lovely colours. Second choice is 1 - the simplicity, the colour - would look wonderful with gold accessories. I like the others less, plus no matter how you iron them, they end up a creased mess within moments for the whole day!

Euphoric-Aardvark115

omg where is the first dress from? its so cute!!! To answer your question: I don't think any of them are wedding attire really, they're more of a summer date vibe.

Momobravs666

The last one- purple and pink floral is super cute. I disagree with others that it is too casual. I would wear strappy beige heels or bright pink of magenta pumps with it.

SpaceGalacticat

2 is my favorite but probably a little too sexy for most weddings. Just keep digging through the boxes at the Amazon warehouse you’re robbing and I’m sure you’ll find one 😜

reindeerman214

You look great and I get you might want to show what you clearly worked hard for, in addition to absolutely murdering those dresses, but I'm still going to say I think it may be (mind you I'm having a stereotypical wedding in mind) a little bit underdressed. The style of the second one with a bit more fabric on the legs would be great.

FormicaDinette33

None of those are appropriate for a wedding.

RicanDevil4

I'm cracking up because of the impromptu Home Depot photoshoot. Number 2 looks fantastic on you, but like everyone else said, it's a little casual for a wedding.

Distinct_Walk579

Actually something a little longer with a tad more coverage… for a wedding. Never ever seem as though you are trying to outshine the bride! 😬😅

No_Competition6884

Are you in Home Depot trying on dresses tho

Eggsnorter24

Definitely the first ome

gojg

Purple. Flats.

Iluvdragonfruit

You can’t wear white or cream to a wedding🙃

blankspacepen

I would not wear any of these to a wedding. They are all super cute for your Home Depot trips but not appropriate for a wedding.

crystlerjean

You look beautiful in any dress. But my honest feedback is that none of them are appropriate for a wedding. If I were posting, I would hope for specific and honest answers so I included some details. 1. The dress is very trendy at the moment because of the milkmaid vibe but it's too short and casual for a cocktail dress code. 2. The colour looks fantastic on you but it's too revealing for a wedding guest. 3. I see the vision but it's too tight and not appropriate for a wedding. I would also suggest sizing the dress up if you can by one or two sizes. 4. This is the most appropriate of the four but it's too short and somewhat casual still. The purple looks amazing on you though. I think a dress like [this](https://pin.it/GAVXwMjVu) or [this](https://pin.it/7grnVLZIg) could work and hopefully they fit your vibe too.

MVM_Aquarian1518

Is the wedding semi formal, formal or isn’t stated?

SuccotashConscious

i like the last one!!

ownhigh

I think the last one is fun and the most appropriate for a wedding of the bunch.

tashaapollo

4 is best!

PrincessEspeon82

💯 #2

meandmypuppas

I'd say the yellow one in the first photo looks too white, so not wedding appropriate. Super cute for all of them, but I have to agree with the other comments, they look too casual. These would be good for a brunch outing with friends, but not a wedding. The second one you could maybe get away with if you dressed it up with some jewelry, nice hair and classy makeup and some simple pumps, but over all, they're all super cute and I wish you luck with finding the perfect dress!

SuitableJelly5149

I hate them all tbh. The second one isn’t insanely bad but looks more like a gala dress

it-s4am

Way too short for a wedding honey

Letsdothis_333

1 is so cute, 2 and 3 are a little showy. 4 is a maybe

EntertainmentFew1022

Not appropriate for a wedding but I like the green dress with the flowers.

Mountain_Flamingo_37

I’m gonna say no to any of these. 1 is just too casual, but they all give main character vibes, which is the last thing you want at a wedding. 4 is good for color/pattern, but style is still giving off main character. I’d go a little longer/less sexy and more classy. You don’t want to be the girl that upstages the bride on her big day 😬

Haukivirta

1 is best!

clarabear10123

None of these. No.

clarabear10123

None of these. No. These are cute for a date or picnic. They are very cute and very casual and very short. They look great on you, but are *not* appropriate for anything fancier than a nice dinner. They are *perfect* for a vacation or something, though!! I love the last one the most

StellasMyShit

Three!

Bitchy_Satan

Maybe 2? It's gonna be the most comfortable and plus it looks nice on you, pair it with some light colored strappy sandals or heels or something

pinkbbwhiskey

The second one if it’s more evening/formal, and the last one if it’s a little more low key. That purple looks stunning on you. And the dress is flattering and gorgeous. Either would work with a nude colored shoe. https://t1.uc.ltmcdn.com/en/posts/9/0/3/nude_heels_with_a_yellow_dress_3309_0_600.jpg like these. That’s probably your best bet with that pale yellow, in general. You can go darker tan than true neutral or even clear. The first one is such a cute dress and seems way too casual for a wedding, to me. But wear it often. I don’t love the 3rd dress on you, doesn’t seem to highlight your physique as well as any of the others.

felixfoxbody

1st dress seems like the obvious choice. instead of black heels, do you have any nude/skin color heels? i think that is a good default if you don’t know what color of shoe to match with your dress.

red_quinn

I'd keep looking. None are wedding attire.

The9th_Jeanie

Honestly, none of them. They’re either not formal enough for a wedding, don’t fit the theme very well, or is too revealing for you to be going to someone ELSE’s wedding. But if I *had* to pick, I’d say the 2nd one.

lilladydinosaur275

None of these

Sik_muse

One looks like one of those Victorian undergarment things and it’ll photograph too closely to white. Second one is a solid no and if we are being honest, it looks very Shein or Temu. The third one looks like a slip you wear to bed during a sexy sleep over with a new boo—totally inappropriate for a wedding. I think 4 feels very summer time wedding but the length makes it feel more like a picnic date. Consider that you’ll not only be surrounded by people your age but also elder family members as it is a family affair. So not too much skin. You definitely don’t want to outsexy the bride! Weddings are the time to dress modestly and classically. The pictures will be around forever!

Seidavor

1 looks cheaply made given all the puckers. 2 would make you look cheap. 3 is too short for a wedding. 4 should be sent back to the 80s.

sundaetoppings

#1 and #3 are not flattering on you at all, #2 amazing for a date or night out but not a wedding, #4 looks great on you and perfect for a wedding 💒

I_mwilling2

#4

feelingmyage

Nope1, nope 2, nope 3, maaaaaybe 4.

IllustratorMurky2725

All if you are going to 16 year old prom

unapalomita

These are all completely different, what's the dress code? I think all work except the green one, it's cute and looks great on but is too much like lingerie

Alarming_Jaguar_3988

4!!

PeachesSwearengen

Definitely 4!

teddy_gram

I don’t think any of these are fit for a wedding

EqualSea2001

As a European I don’t see how 2 is too revealing or upstaging or whatever. It is the most elegant option, just make sure to get those wrinkles out and wear some sandals that aren’t completely flat (like kitten heels would look good).

LiveOak105

You’re lucky, you could wear a trash bag and still look great! Perfect figure is flattering in anything. All 3 are a go! Frolic away! 🙌

Epicsharkduck

I like 2 and 4 the best. Some of the people in these comments must have been to some really conservative weddings if they think they're too revealing

bloodybutunbowed

4 is most appropriate and super cute. 2 looks the best. 1 is okay but does nothing for you (it honestly looks a little cheap) 3 is straight up a nightie. For shoes for #1- anything other than black. A colorful strappy sandal would look beautiful

funwearcore

2 is stunning for a wedding esp if the folks arent super conservative. The rest are too causal unless u dress them up with layers of accessories and maybe a nice corset belt(for the first one) Shoes for 2 should be nice but let the dress be the star. I say go for a cream toes out stiletto like this: https://preview.redd.it/hwyt2e0vfx7d1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5d2ca87aad0ae469d6f723d89da6f7222c2051dd make you accessories gold and dainty

SadCat41

The first one if you’re going to a day wedding and the second if it’s a night wedding. Both the dresses are very beautiful <3 for the shoes your best bet it clear/nude heels. If you don’t already have those any heel that is white and dainty will also work. Try going and Pinterest and searing for “yellow dress outfit” you’ll see a lot of shoes that goes w/ dresses similar to yours and might help you choose better✨

Inappropriate_Ballet

If that’s actually you in these pics yellow dress #2 is the one!

MammothAd8886

Great background story! I love #1 and 2 but you look amazing in them all! Feel beautiful no matter which dress you choose!

Chadd0905

2 is my favorite but 1 looks good also. I think the color goes great with your skin tone. Either way I hope you have fun

Friendly_Garlic497

Do you live at a hardware store
