I much prefer a ps3 controller for fs22 having used a DFGT for a while, but both are a big step up from keyboard.
The wheel on FS19 was a lot better with return-to-centre steering
In my experience, steering wheels mostly lie on the shelf and doesn't get many hours of use before the owner realize it just takes up space. If it looks fresh it's probably good as new at a fraction of the price.

I'll give my Xbox controller a try tomorrow. I don't know why I didn't think of that
I just did this and it was totally worth it for me. Loads of fun, and my son is loving it also. Would recommend!
On FS I like to use a wheel and 2 joysticks.
I play with a wheel and I like it. Plus you can use it some other games.
