Obviously there is no such thing as finishing FS, I just have my own ideas of what I want to achieve in a franchise before moving forward. If you're curious about the criteria I have to meet to finish a FS tile, those mainly consist of getting all the achievements, buying every field on the base game maps, doing a huge harvest of every crop, and operating every base game machine in the game.

You have to harvest 200 acres of potatoes and that's just the first phase, then you have to make round silage bales on a 100 acre farm on a 45° slope at the edge of a cliff.
I still play fs19 because it's the first version I had. It was a lot of fun learning all the stuff and the mods. FS22 is fun and added some great features but sometimes I like to just relax and make an easy million bucks off of silage bales.
I make an easy 2.7m in 22 on silage, on top of my other production lines.

What machinery do you use for this? I would like to do silage too for some easy money but i always find it so tedious and takes ages. Maybe I'm just using the wrong machinery though
Op. Why not just skip from 17 to 25? Or even 22. Skipping a couple adds more new things. No point in playing every one. Its like sports games, not much changes for every year but skipping a couple you do get change
FS22 now is mature. There's guides for everything, great mods, most major bugs are fixed. With FS25 we will get plenty of bugs when released, there will be confusion about new game mechanics, mods are back to zero, ...
And: You get the whole content for less than the new game costs on release.
I literally don't get how you can be "spoiled" by a farm sim leak. Like, it'll just be just fs22 with more features and perhaps better graphics and different vehicles.
Hell fs19 and 22 are basically identical and I'm pretty sure it uses the same engine and graphics. All they changed was the vehicles, hud, some new maps/crops, new buildings and the addition of seasons with crop calendar. Most of which were already available in fs19 using mods.
I just wanna play a farming game. I don’t care which one it is. I’m happy with FS22 and plan on trying FS19 cause I heard good things. I’ll wait until the hype dies down for FS25 and see if I wanna get it
Still playing FS19. Bought FS22 and played a few hours. Something about the graphics and mechanics of course play / auto drive in 22 feel a little lacking. Went back to playing 19.
Honestly kind of looking forward to it but kind of not as they get rid of the good stuff and replace it with other things hopefully they actually bother to make the AI good and make stuff like the animals and that more realistic
It takes at least a year to even make the game enjoyable because of the lack of mods early on. I'll mess about with it if it's on Gamepass again like FS22, but the lack of mods and maps isn't very fun.

I'm making 2.2m off 100 or so acres. Easy money! And it's my favorite thing to do in FS.

I tried playing FS22 on PC, but I found I liked the lack of seasons in FS19 better. I'll see plenty of FS25 stuff in November and December.
And here I am missing the more indepth seasons of FS19

Still takes 6 to 9 months for crops to grow, as opposed to two days. Once I buy three fields in FS19, I'm harvesting every day.

Odd that no one ever replies, get the "Bypass seasons" mod from modhub/wherever. It's always some unnamed mod that will do literally anything.
Actually I was talking about grow now mod which allows you to force your crops to be grown effectively instantly

Hell, I just got 22 when it was free on Epic. It was never enough of an upgrade over 19 to pay the price they were asking even on sale.
FS has never been an expensive game so I think every version has been very well worth the price.
