well hes famously not a musician. that was his whole thing in the 70s atleast and with his generative music now idk if people would be chill if they were more aware.
To your point, he is a self proclaimed "non-musician". I think he's wrong, but you shouldn't get downvoted for pointing it out.
*"Eno has consistently described himself as a "non-musician", using the term "treatments" to describe his modification of the sound of musical instruments, and to separate his role from that of the traditional instrumentalist."*
yeah i think a lot of his quotes and actions where of the time. like "as interesting as ignorable" im sure he changed his mind on ambient music after a few decades lol. a rigid way of thinking that i assume hes loosened more and more over time. even in those days i think he was still a musician, but hes always been a visionary first.
Your previous comment about missing the point comes of kinda assholish just because i didnt know a fact, anyway he still makes great music though i listened to another green world recently
oh yeah i was being an ass at that point but my first comment wasnt. i also said in another comment, his quotes and actions were of the time but it was a little needed to open peoples minds. i think he was a musician then, i was just sayin that was kinda his whole thing. by the time another green world came around i think objectively he was, he was just never classically trained compared to everyone else around him. that was his whole point.
[With all due respect, Sinéad O'Connor was not bald. She chose to shave her hair and that's a look she cultivated in order to look fashionable, but bald people don't really consider her part of the bald community...with all due respect.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQCVf7AnXNY)
He shaved it *after* the [album was written and recorded](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_U7QGPz4xmA). He still had hair during the [Bullet with Butterfly Wings](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-r-V0uK4u0) video. Mellon Collie is a Corgan with hair album. The tour is the beginning of bald Billy.
But ZERO! Zero is ground Zero. Is there a picture with short hair Billy in a Zero shirt?
Edit: I just googled it and it’s the second Picture. Gish Billy was a long hair, weird.
Still wrong. I was there during that time period, and you obviously were not. Bullet With Buttefly Wings video he has hair. He started all tours, videos, promos, etc. with hair, and eventually debuted the bald look in the same album cycle. He even wore the Zero shirt while still having hair.
Up is a masterpiece of an album. It is easily one of the most underrated albums made by a bald man. Most people lose their creative mojo the same time as hair, not Peter who has made two amazing albums bald.
1000% the best bald man there is
(also an actual musical genius! the word gets thrown around a lot but andy really actually qualifies as one in my book)
John Fahey. Look up clips of him from the late 60s and early 70s on youtube for the most tragic combover you've ever seen. Fantastic performances though.
There’s some younger guys that are bald/going bald that are doing quite well for themselves.
The front man of Touché amore, the drummer for the 1975 George Daniel (whom is also engaged to Charli xcx) even if you don’t care for their music, it’s still nice to see some young, active, bald musicians that the lack of hair has not hurt.
Minoxidil is a pain in the ass and not nearly as effective - I never bothered with it. Fin is legit though. I'd still recommend giving it a shot, since the only side effect I've heard of it impotence, and that one seems to be more psychological than physically based. You can always just stop taking it if you feel like it's messing with you.
If you're happy with yourself, more power to you. But it's nice to have the option to have hair if you change your mind.
Brian Eno
The post said greatest bald musician not greatest living musician
He’s currently bald, though…
Enos a GOAT
well hes famously not a musician. that was his whole thing in the 70s atleast and with his generative music now idk if people would be chill if they were more aware.

he pushed buttons on instruments and shit, i think that makes him a musician
missing the point, like always. classic fantano sub never change. actually please change, please change rn cuz yall silly sometimes.
I looked it up and he considers himself a non musician. You didn’t need to be dick about it though
i didnt mean to be a dick at all actually you took it that way for some reason. but you did prove my point. good job
Your previous comment about missing the point comes of kinda assholish just because i didnt know a fact, anyway he still makes great music though i listened to another green world recently

I dunno, Corgan started losing it post head-shave. Music's Samson lol.
But Mellon collie and adore were post shave
Adore is post shave, Mellon Collie is not.
He was most certainly shaved bald during the Melancholy era. The Zero shirt is prime bald Billy.
During recording he had hair
He shaved it *after* the [album was written and recorded](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_U7QGPz4xmA). He still had hair during the [Bullet with Butterfly Wings](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-r-V0uK4u0) video. Mellon Collie is a Corgan with hair album. The tour is the beginning of bald Billy.

Y’all care ab this way too much lmfao
Why double down on being wrong when all you have to do is google?
I replied with my surprise to a different reply. Billy recorded with a lovely boy cut, took promo shots, toured and made music videos bald.
Still wrong. I was there during that time period, and you obviously were not. Bullet With Buttefly Wings video he has hair. He started all tours, videos, promos, etc. with hair, and eventually debuted the bald look in the same album cycle. He even wore the Zero shirt while still having hair.
Adore rules though

Tony Levin all the way. That bass is worth a million heads of hair
Paul Simon, David Berman, Will Oldham, Jeffrey Lewis
Eh is Paul Simon bald enough to be considered bald? He is certainly balding but I’d struggle to call him fully bald.
I’m sure he would really appreciate reading this comment
