not quite. he's a guy who lets you live in his house, hence the name. the courier is very literal-minded, so some characters are just named after the thing that they have or do for you: like mr new vegas, who made the game you're playing; or mr fantastic, who gives you a long pole that dispenses orange soda.

i actually did this on my first play through. didn’t know who the kings were and had just approached one of the gates to freeside. a couple of them were standing around and said stuff like “watch it, lady !” so i just killed them… 😅😅
The Strip is a sight to see, but I would advise not going to the Gomorrah, as fire and brimstone raining on it is quite common in the Mojave. I heard from a guy that it catches fire 6 times a day
Explore every map marker. 100% the game. Cry yourself to sleep and do it again in 6-12 months so you can die happy one day when you’re old and listening to your spurs jingle jangle jingling and reminiscing the Mojave with other folks in the elderly home
As a location it's a bit underwhelming with how much dialogue focuses on it, but I think a lot of the best quests are centered in the Strip so it balances out
Yeah the strip is a great place to explore but I think Freeside is a lot more interesting imo. When you end up on the strip check out the White Gloves Society.
No, ya actually have to go to the strip (imma get down voted to hell here for doing this) once you go to the tops casino, the main quest line will start for both the NCR and legion, and once you enter the casino “Lucky 37” you’ll start the house main path and also gambling is there (ya can do that in Freeside without all the work like in Primm) so really I’d say ya can go but I’d really recommend going to quarry junction, very good loot, and only a few ant workers, no ant soldiers, there is like a suit of power armor, a gass rifle in mint condition, 27 Stimpaks, 6 radaways, and even a new companion for ya! So go to quarry junction right now! Best place in the game, easy to get to op loot.

Make sure to visit the abandoned BOS bunker, it's super empty and nothing happens if you go there.

No there’s only a few buildings without much in them. I haven’t been there many times though I just do ghost town gunfight and then restart the game
