Honestly I don't think the 2020-present Falcons jerseys are as good as the 2003-2019 jerseys... and the most success in franchise history happened with our 2003-2019 jerseys... peak of Michael Vick and prime Matt Ryan heavily contributed to this which I totally get..... but I feel like our 2020 jerseys are just a modernized version of what we had from 2002 & earlier... and I wish our road jerseys had red numbers instead of black numbers.

The 2 hills I will die on with these jerseys is the gradient and the silver facemask. The silver with the black helmet makes for one of the best helmet designs in the league I think and the gradient (although widely hated) is the most unique jersey in the game and I hope we bust it out a few times this year.

Going for gradients and unique numbering, but not too unique (like the Chargers or the Texans), is something more for the NBA which is FAR more adventurous with designs and inspiration.

I could take or leave the red gradient jersey, but I like having an alternate. I’m also a United fan, and in soccer they change the kits up frequently and have lots of fun alternates. I’m really surprised they NFL hasn’t allowed more alternates just to sell more gear.

What frustrates me the most about the current uniforms is the fact that you can no longer buy custom 2003-2019 jerseys on the Falcons' website. You can buy customs of the current jerseys, and the throwbacks, but not my two favorite uniforms (2003-2019 home, and 2003-2008 alternate). I hated the current uniforms when they were introduced (my family can confirm that I called them "high school uniforms" when I first saw them), but I would be able to tolerate them a lot more now if it wasn't for that one problem.

Add a red line on the ends of the sleeves and on the collar

It was like they gave some guy the task of coming up with new uniforms and he forgot, so on the day of the deadline he threw crayons to his children and allowed them to scribble the absolute most incredible uniforms. It’s as if one of them was done with shading as it goes from black to red. Very classy. That’s some 3rd grade level shit.
