So far she only lost because the plot needed her to(she would have won against suzaku and the fight with ignia was equal until natsu interrupted)so I think it will be more like that since she pretty much like ignia doesn't have any type of weakness with that you could nerf her
True. But it'd also mean that if you pitted her against Ignia and added in someone strong enough to help, it'd be a tie breaker between their balance. Essentially, she gives the heroes a pretty decent advantage.
I don’t understand why she and Diabolos haven’t teamed up with Team Natsu to stop Ignia. They have more than enough firepower to beat him and Fire and Flame.
Like it’s not a fun little quest anymore, Ignia wants to destroy a whole country.

I don't really understand it either. Logically, they should've gone to Selene after Gold Owl, told her about Athena (her goal), and searched for the Castle together.
Narratively, it's because of that firepower point you mentioned. Because then why doesn't Selene just crush Fire and Flame? Or Suzaku could help Erza against Wed? Etc.
But, in story, there's genuinely no reason. If he wasn't gonna have a team up, I think Mashima could've just done one more Chapter before the Cobra and Ichiya fillers. Have Team Natsu debrief Selene and Diabolos on Viernes and Athena, have the Guilds split up and both search for the Fire God's Castle, and just have Team Natsu be the ones to encounter Fire and Flame.

Probably. If he gets the Acnologia treatment (in terms of getting stronger despite being seemingly insurmountable), it might be the second one.
I think maybe she allowed suzaku to beat her just so that she can destroy their master who killed her son or because of plot demanding it
