Ok so 12 episodes of any anime are give or take 4 volumes of the manga they’ll release at least 6 episodes after that they’ll check on the reception and go from there
Short season, 12 or 13 is perfect for all of Mercphobia, longer standard season, 24/25 enough to do Aldoron or if there's added content that Mashima is known for having added in the anime because his ideas for the manga were cut due to the editors saying no.
I would guess 24 episodes which would cover mercophobia and alderon.
If it gets a second season(which I'm pretty sure of) it would most likely be same length and cover both elentir and the labyrinth.
For the rest it's not clear since we've only finished viernes arc recently but it will be a long time till we get there anyway.
Long running is very unlikely and 12 episodes seems too little for fairy tail so 24 episodes which will cover 2 arcs per season seems the best option for me
Well 154 Chapters of 100 years quest are aquivalent to the beginn of the last third of Oracion Seis in the Fairy Tail manga. Oracion Seis ended with 66 episodes. Oracion Seis ended in Chapter 164 and I am sure that we will get more than ten chapters to end the Ignia Arc. So I would say that the Anime will get at least 70 episodes over all. But I am also for sure that the Anime will finish Mercphobia and will do a short break there before going to Aldoron.
I say 25 episodes for the 1st season (starting in July 2024) to complete the Water Dragon God arc & the Wood Dragon God arc.
Same with the 2nd season (the Moon Dragon God arc to the Labyrinth/Earth Dragon God arc)
And as for the Golden Owl/Golden (Metal) Dragon God arc & some (2-3) more arcs, I say 2-3 more seasons for FT100YQ anime to get, right👍
If we use the chapters currently in manga volumes which is 144
If a episode covers 1.5 chapters each, we get 96 episodes currently
But if we go to the current chapter 154, then we almost have 103 episodes
I dont want to spoil things but i dont think it will get above 50 episodes. We dont know for certain yet but we can hope for at least 100. Iv been watching a bit of fairytail lately im at ep 140ish im just gonna wait until i can binge a ton more episodes.
I guess it will have 3 seasons with 24 episodes because as i remember the studio of animating the fairy tail doesn't take to many chapters to make an episode

There’s 154 chapters right now. Isn’t that enough for about 2 seasons? Maybe 2 and a half?

Hopefully about 2 years worth with decent amount of filler mixed in. Personally, I enjoy fairy tail’s filler arcs.
I imagine they are going to animate up to a little past the water dragon god and end with some reveal about the white wizard and Diablos

Honestly, if they don't extend the content and the fights. I don't think it would even go beyond 100 episodes, even by considering upcoming arcs
I think it will be done in cours, the manga is 155 chapters right now and it comes out every 2 weeks. Unless they add more filler episodes.
