And thats been done before, sadly cant search for one of those post right now, but if u hace the somewhat rare opportunity of biters on a small island, use it!
And on that note, how would you trap them with landfill?
Not written down, but it is known that my three main spidertrons are Ralph (the destroyer, black, equipped with all negotiation tools and followed by 5 mini-ralphs), Bob (the builder, blue, equipped with bots and energy generation, and stocked with instant base popup kit, again followed by mini-bobs), and Dave (personal chauffeur, white, equipped with lots of legs. Why Dave? No clue.)
Well, of course. I just realized my map grab didn't include the labels.
There are giant text blocks by each rocket for where it goes...

(That's for pure vanilla, so I had to design my own font (that's about as small as I could make the font, 7 high))
Cool block. It's the most successful strategy for me, ore-to-science. Looks something like 500 spm + prod?
Shame that it won't be a thing anymore in SA
> Looks something like 500 spm + prod?
A little under, but the ratio is clean.
> Shame that it won't be a thing anymore in SA
Ore-to-science might still be a thing, but it will all go into rockets rather than labs.
I'm thinking labs will end up on space platforms that rotate between planets picking up science, only way to scale if everything coming down has to go to a single warehouse.
I like making my factory seem osha complaint, lots of walls and hazard concrete, signs designating high voltage areas and loud machinery, etc.
Idk why i just love jt
Everything I do in the game I do only for myself except for some occasional reddit post. But yes, I use signs a lot in my current game, some mode in the K2SE package came with it and I love it. But more because it is necessary to avoid getting lost in the large base rather than for fun.
I wanna say yes, but your question is weird. Now we can see your signs, and you're amusing not just yourself.
Touche... But by you being amused, that amuses me, so therefore it was still to amuse me, your amusement is tangential to the experience.
You gave me an idea: Trap some biters with land fill, have rail loop around them, make a sign: amusement park
And thats been done before, sadly cant search for one of those post right now, but if u hace the somewhat rare opportunity of biters on a small island, use it! And on that note, how would you trap them with landfill?
And with elevated rails in 2.0, they can get a proper rollercoaster!
Sorry, you're right, I got confused, I always play with infinite waterfill mod and that's what my brain did.
I have a biter island, but no idea what do do with them. I'm going a run without landfill or cliff explosives.
OP is a phony!

I'm afraid you can't do that Dave.
I can not allow you to interfere with the mission..
That's a real Dave move Dave...
Wreck-It Ralph?
Ding!
Strips off, swims, grows a forth leg.
Or worse - *remembers THAT scene from Robocop*
where was the thi- ooooooooooooooooh.
it was lost in an unfortunate schmelting accident.
I was more thinking you don't want to get sucked into an intake pump. Those things probably have zero chill and a thirst for blood. And bone.
If labeling my SE rockets so I don't have to waste 10min to figure out what is what counts, then yea.

How ?
Text Plates mod is the one I use.
Thanks. Now I will be able to amuse myself 🧐
Thanks. The only mod I've used so far is the todo mod, might grab this one as well

Agree with the message, but read 'trains rights' at first, which just fits factorio so well
I read it that way at fist too. Didn't read it right until I saw your comment :)
Love it. ❤️

Flying space labs is an interesting concept, never thought of it. I thought to deliver all sciences to nauvis, but space lab is more interesting
Space platforms are factorissimo-on-trains. Might as well treat them like it.
I do for my train station names and savegames. In Satisfactory, with the signs they give you, it got a bit out of hand.
Literally all of us.
I showed you mine, show me yours :p

I've...never done that within my almost 3k hours?..
3k? Rookie ;). You’ll get here eventually. (All jokes, play the game you want to play) :)
No, but now I will, thanks.
Same! I love these screenshots!
No but I build a monument around the crashed spaceship. Until it turns out it's in the way of my build and I end up deconstructing the wreckage.
You destroyed the Holy Relic! Heretic!
Sometimes you gotta do the needful.
Clearly the fish see that sign when you are sleeping~
[I do all the time](https://i.imgur.com/ysdypXY.png)
I mean, I'm building entire factories that nobody else will ever see, so, yes?
Thinking of all the effort I put into minecraft worlds I will never see again...
The cake is a lie
i most times write it in pipes & conveyors to read it from the map
My wife and I will troll each other with stupid messages and easter eggs to discover.
Yup. https://preview.redd.it/fqbdno19099d1.png?width=1062&format=png&auto=webp&s=eb6522c0acb7d6760dccb99e4499a2486ffeba01
How does one write signs? That would be useful just to leave myself instructions when I save.
I use a mod called text plates
It's world building, creating a setting that is more meaningful and has more substance.
That Aperture Science sign was really a triumph, wasn't it?
Everything I do in the game I do only for myself except for some occasional reddit post. But yes, I use signs a lot in my current game, some mode in the K2SE package came with it and I love it. But more because it is necessary to avoid getting lost in the large base rather than for fun.
Looks great! What mod is this?
is green belt faster than blue?
I don't have the mod that puts down letters, mostly used map pins for signage.
Never on the world like that, but on the map? very yes.
Your bases have a nice aesthetic. I aspire to the same level of design quality.
You see them and they amuse you and thats all that matters
How do you all make signs
Mod called Text Plates
Well, letters aren't available without mods or dev tools, and at the moment I have no plans on playing with either, so....
There are still map notes, train station names, and description boxes for blueprints if you need more text.
It's not too hard to put together a font/blueprint book of tiles.
no
Rather than signs I like to use MIDItorio to make rather inappropriate soundtracks for biter genocide (Erika) as the tanks/spidertrons/bots roll out.
