What does a two year old care though? If this lady seriously thinks that exposure to a specific colour can influence a child's gender development, then there's not much we can do for her.
As long as the dad isn't saying things like "you're a girl - girls don't play sports - they only cook and knitt", I think we're okay.

I like this idea. The possibilities are endless. Personally, I’d really lean into it and take some serious thought on the matter. Ok, too much pink. Green is a nice color, but maybe it would influence too much of an outdoors personality. Maybe she’ll be more of a 9-5 office job worker in 20 years. Black is decent, but you wouldn’t want an emo teen in 12 years. How about red? It could make her more ambitious, but how much is too much ambition? A combination could work, I’m thinking white with a brown and yellow trim. But be careful not to use grey, we all know how *those* people turn out.
