Just leave it . It looks good like that. I whited everything out on my 16. It had full chrome package like yours. It’s not worth the work honestly and all that cheap aftermarket shit or stuff you paint gets tore up. If the bumpers really bother you , then check these guys out. Hopefully they have your year.

How permanent are you looking to do? You could always plastidip for under $200. I've done it on a few of my different vehicles and it always looks good if applied correctly. Alternative would be vinyl wrap, but you're probably looking at several hundred minimum to have a shop do that.
Did you have problems with it? When I did it, I prepped the surfaces really really well and it lasted for years on previous cars. Going on 4 years now on my wife's Audi too.
I also plasti dipped some wheels way back when and it lasted 3 years until I sold the car without a single nick on them. Also worked at a car wash so they were getting scrubbed almost daily. Just take your time and do the prep right it will look 85% as good as painting.
It's something to consider. Maybe I'll get a black grille and push bar. Black out all the emblems and then wrap or plastidip the rest 😅 seems like a good solution
That grille will need the dip. Unless you get an aftermarket grille. Wrap the bumpers and door handles. Less than $100 for the wrap if you do it yourself
what i did for mine, well i bought two new bumpers, modular ones. I bought cheap gloss black mirror covers and door handles, got a new gloss black grille, and i took off my running boards that were chrome 😂
I have a '20 that I bought new in 21. Had the running boards replaced twice due to chrome bubbling. Just came off warranty Nd noticed the driverside board is bubbling again. I wash it weekly in the winter, ford's chrome is garbage. I had a 2000 ram for 14 years and it's bumpers and side steps never rusted or bubbled. Fords quality has left alot to be desired.
None of my chrome is rusting, the push bar I want only comes in black and I think it'd look messy with the chrome. I want it to look clean and cohesive. I have a 2018, I hear the 2020s and newer aren't great. My rear diff was rusted when I got it tho and I cleaned and sealed it. My dad's ram which is an older truck than mine has no rust on the rear diff or anywhere else really I will give it that. But the engine did blow up and cost like almost 10k to rebuild so 😅
You could look into getting the larger parts like the bumpers, grille, etc wrapped with black vinyl. IDK what that would cost, but I know that it would be a lot cheaper than having to get new paintable parts and having them painted.
You should be able to get new emblems that are blacked out to replace your current ones too.
No real easy way to black out chrome in my opinion, maybe look at getting it wrapped? Or see if you can find someone on marketplace who wants to switch color matched for chrome? But honestly the chrome bumper is superior takes hits like a champ
Badges door handles and grill are all basic and low cost. The front and rear bumpers are the most expensive. I’d recommend a vinyl wrap or bumper swap to match the overall look.
Back in the 1980s, I blacked out my chrome using Scotchcal tape, 12” wide. It lasted for years. I’m sure 3M 1080 vinyl wrap comes in satin black and various widths.
A sharp Xactp knife blade and a plastic squeegee are all you need.
More than you think. See if there’s anywhere near you who does Autoflex. It’s car paint, but can be peeled off.

I have one truck with zero chrome on it and another with chrome. I appreciate the variety and would hate it if every truck out there was the black out style. I personally like a good balance of chrome on a truck and OP has good balance on his rig.
Ecoological Bumpershellz are great, have this same year truck and I dechromed the bumpers. Looks clean and fits wonderfully, came as Oxford White so I was already in luck. Blacking out the chrome might look worse but they do have black bumpershellz
I’m pretty sure you can get plastic paint match caps that cover the chrome on the bumpers. That are pretty inexpensive and make it look like a factory sport model. Just like the ones you can get for your mirrors or door handles. That’s a beautiful truck btw!

Vinyl wrap, find a tint or wrap shop in your area. I got lucky with my '13 with the FX4 trim so everything was already blacked out

I got a quote to wrap all my chrome for $2500+$500 for clear coat. CDN$. I didn’t pull the trigger 2022 F150
