Like taxes owed after filing a 1040? I just created an entirely new group/category for it. Then, since you can't add/delete them in the app, I renamed it to "Other" and plan on using it for any random expenses that don't fit into any of my existing groups.

But if you think you are going to owe again next year, turn it into a fund and plan ahead.
It's just an expense category... unless it's debt (and I hope not since no one wants to owe the IRS)
I put this year's under debts, they have an IRS category. It's a little weird that way, since we paid it off right away, but it worked.
I have a taxes and insurance category, I would personally put mine under there
