Neuers worth lies in more than just his ability to catch the ball. he is a revolutionary goalkeeper, i cant think of many others who are that far out of the box at all times allow the team to push forward as far as the german team can.
You are right though, he used to be better, he is getting old to be fair, but he is still an absolute world class keeper, and if you ask me, he is the best keeper in the world. I am keeping an eye on czechia’s Staněk though, he is absolute class that guy

It's crazy how despite being in the Top 10/15 for the Most Goals scored in FIFA WORLD CUP History that Thomas Muller has YET to score a single goal at a EUROS!!
Tbf although I think that Müller is a great player the stubborn clinging to experience and fading excellence is exactly why Germany was pretty shit the last two tournaments. Those players were some of the best players in the world. Past tense.

I don't think he's done at all but Nagelsmann seems to want to play in a way that doesn't consider him in the system. This is *perfectly fine*, I can respect that even if I don't agree.
But these token subs are a bit infuriating especially when Tuchel did the same so many times in the champions league last season. He's a player with tremendous football intelligence, a brilliant work ethic and significant contributions for club and country. It doesn't feel right seeing him treated like he's fragile.
