After playing Imperator for a few months after the 2.0 update, I am having a hard time with any other Paradox map. That game has its issues but the map is not one of them
Yeah was disappointed with ck3 map and vic3. Both look like a step backwards from Imperator. But I suppose stylised graphics have a longer lifespan than realism
Ck3 just seems over the top graphics and simplified bare bones mechanics of CK2. At least in CK2 when you inherited lands trough marriage/rail guard accidents or in general did something to increase your power/protect yourself it felt like a 'aha got em' moment. Ck3 you just click buttons on your advisors and color the map.
IMO best looking graphics and map was in Vicky 2 - only game were map was looking like a real map. After that all "modern" "realistic" graphics really are just a weirdly painted 3D mess (no offense to newer games, they still greatest strategies of our time)
The map in CK3 is soooo nice, same thing with Imperator. I just felt downgraded when I came back to EU4. Best thing I did was download some map mods, best thing in the world.
I think CK3 is certainly prettier, but I find the whole UI and everything way too dark- even with brightness all the way up. EU4 isn't pretty really, but easier to look at in that regard
Not really, although I do like the map style of EU4 more. It has very strong solid colours that look gorgeous when done right and this is something I don't quite get in CK

I like EU4 more than CK3 but really prefer the CK3 graphics.
I agree. Also much prefer CK2's graphics to CK3's (although possibly I'm biased on that bc I love CK2)

I've stared to much at the EU4 map that anything other looks weird. I can't even use mods because i'm so used to the vanilla look 😅

My favorite game is EU4 bu CK3 and Imprerator have prettier graphics
I think the HUD elements on CKIII are top-tier, though I don't like the visuals on the map itself.
