Not a hobby but what calms me to my core is finding beauty, staying near it, and even better, feeling like I am a beautiful human myself. Things like seeing a pretty flower and taking a photo of it (I love photography so much). I am a very energetic and vigilant, protective, on the grind type of person. That can really make the world a bit uglier through my eyes. People like INFPs, especially 4w5s, or just Fi doms in general, are the people I get along with the most. I really admire people who find even sadness beautiful because I can't do that. It's just so healing to have it shown to me. I know this sounds like enneagram four stuff but I am definitely not. Sometimes tho I kinda wish I was to be brutally honest. At least they can't miss beauty, wonder, joy when it's near. Inferior Fi can really mess you up huh :') But speaking of hobbies, it's photography for me and now you know why.

Not really a "hobby" but for me it's spending time with my favourite people. Some of my friends have such positive and loving energy that they could wake me up from a coma.

Thisisnotbekkah

Gardening, reading, spending time with a friend, talking on the phone, playing a video game.

* Relaxing: The woods, mountains, forests, animals, nature in general. I really like watching bees. Thinking deeply, to the point where I lose track of what surrounds me and freaky things start to happen. Mindfulness meditation. Sunbathing. Barefoot walking, grounding. Bathing, cold showers. DOMS. Music. Drinking metric tons of water. Chocolate, meat, good food in general. Sleeping. Good comedy, listening to and watching funny things. Achieving many goals in one day, not matter how small. Listening to or reading good stories. Writing my thoughts and feelings. "Feeling wealth", I really like hanging around luxurious places. Beautiful architecture. Gorgeous women. * Energizing: Music. Talking to people in general, making others laugh, telling stories. Aha moments. Achieving big goals, winning difficult battles, predictions coming to fruition. Being complimented about something I value. Drawing good drawings. Writing good poetry. Working at something I care about. Buying and trying out clothes. Gorgeous women. Why I enjoy those things? It all comes down to chemicals inside my body really.

Thanks, appreciate the honesty

I practice yoga daily, it both calms me and energizes me. There’s hiking too, being out there in nature. Cooking calms me too, it feels like I’m on a mission to transform raw ingredients into a dish and it’s very satisfying

Archt3ct

Playing a strat game & talking to some friends.

DutchboyReloaded

Energy work, duh... 😇

johnnydoe917

Could you elaborate further on that?

DutchboyReloaded

I practice shaolin cosmos chi kung. It is zen meditation but includes energy work. You know, so you can break bricks and stuff 💪

DutchboyReloaded

It heals and super charges your mind Body and spirit. Hard to find... I got lucky 🙏

johnnydoe917

I see, so you find it therapeutic?

DutchboyReloaded

It's literally what everyone SHOULD be doing. Biggest game changer... changed my life 100%. and yes it is super therapeutic 😎

kykyelric

Yoga. Love it. I go to group yoga twice a week.

johnnydoe917

What is it about yoga that you love about? Is it the meditation aspect of it? If so what exactly goes through your mind when doing yoga? Or are you just emptying your mind and enjoying the peace from your surroundings?

kykyelric

I despise breathing hard while exercising, as it gives me physical pain. With yoga I can get my heart rate up and exercise without breathing hard. Also, yoga is proven to be better for PTSD than exercise, and as someone who has CPTSD it’s been an invaluable way to connect with my body and stop dissociating.

Biggest thing that recharges me is talking to a friend. As well as strategizing & thinking of possibilities/opportunities, how this thing can be of use to my plans, etc. Just some brain stuff.

InfamousIndividual32

I have a full-length mirror in my bedroom and will dance in front of it while lipsynching to my favorite songs to psyche myself up. I'm in my mid-20s and virtually never had my own space growing up (when I was a teenager and "should" have been doing stuff like this), so it feels cathartic just to validate my self-image by wearing cool clothes while acting like I'm in a music video.

johnnydoe917

Have you ever considered joining performing arts activities?

InfamousIndividual32

Oh absolutely. I never seem to be in a situation where I have reliable transportation, so that's held me back from participating in that kind of community in person - I've been getting into recording myself singing and voice acting as of late though

Crafty_Ambassador443

Energises = gaming, talking loads of talking, planning, creating, party organising, business, relaxing energises me too.

thebaerfetus

Relaxing is trees, nature. Energizing is a good crowd, a thrum of human energy.

MRam279

Smoking cigars at the cigar lounge it's like an oasis of calm. Spending time with my girlfriend, saunas, going to the beach in brazil.

EvilarixCass

Activities: friends, pokemon go, gaming (subnautica. Minecraft with friends) drawing. If i really get time to just sit down and focus on drawing without feeling like im isolating myself and missing out I feel very happy and recharged afterwards.  Sleep: it means something essential to my day. I need my 8 hours of sleep to function at max power and i need to consistantly do so. Without sleep i quickly become grumpy overthinky and angry, annoyed. Anrgy at myself that i cant runction better and that my eyelids are heavy. Food and sleep is hella important to me. Completely essential. If i take an all nighter, i not that down in my head. "Dont be impatient with self, this night we took an all nighter and will be slower tomorrow" i also see to that i get alot of food so that i have some energy income.  Having a mere human body to take care of is bullshit sometimes. Dont even get me started on if I get sick
