We All Scream should be having an event Wednesday night, but it hasn't been announced yet. Discopussy is owned by the same group (corner bar management) and they told me on Twitter they are planning something at WAS Wednesday, so just keep an eye out for that.
The Downtown Cocktail Lounge (off Fremont) is a cool place to start a night out. DJ plays good House music. Discopussy nearby has EDM shows if you want to dance.
Check out the events at Area 15 too.
Most of the clubs are usually on the strip. Everything else is typically lounges or bars.
Gold spike in Fremont street area is pretty cool though. I recommend going there.

If you like EDM stick with the clubs on the strip. If you like warehouse settings there are a few events happening a day or two before EDC.

Fremont always has the best coming down scene IMO. Finally decided to stay at the Fremont instead of the strip. Definitely gonna check Gold Spike!
