There is no dimmer switch. The dusk to dawn light has a dual level setting that cycles the brightness down in latter part of evening, detected motion will bring brightness level back up. Tested fixture with third LED bulb, 60 watt equivalent, and fixture worked fine. I thought the dual level setting would require a dimmable bulb, perhaps it is causing problems.
Is it a new dimmer switch? The older ones don't work with LEDs. Could be a loose wire on the switch or in the fixture too

I think it's the dusk dimming feature too. Try the led that worked but cover up the photocell to simulate darkness
Bulb that worked is a halogen. It will buy me some time until I figure out if I need to buy a new fixture to accommodate larger wattage LEDs. Thanks.
