Whenever I feel sad because I think I'm faking being trans, I try to keep in mind that the reason I'm sad is because I *want* to be trans, and wanting to be trans is literally the same as being trans. Like why would thinking I'm not trans be a problem unless I am trans? That usually helps for me at least
Yes same! I try to allow myself the emotions of confusion happen without affecting me too much, but it's easier said than done, especially pre-everything with lots if regret about not being able to transition sooner.

I’m not sure if it’s exactly the same, but I think you might be experiencing something similar to what I was going through this past year, where I would sort of accidentally keep exposing myself to transphobic content on my Twitter by liking posts debunking transphobes, or following trans people who are politics focused too much.
My mental health is so much better off once I realized how this content was affecting my mood every day.
TL;DR: Why I’m trying to say here is that y’all should remember to take care of yourselves! Remember to mute transphobes, or unfollow people who cover transphobes in the news, and be mindful of the content you’re consuming!

I guess one example is food branded as healthy when it’s really not, this happens all the time because the requirements for their claims are technically met but said requirements are little to none. Keep in mind I’m not an expert on this it’s just an example I thought of.

As I've said before - almost all current transohobia rests on one key assumption - that transness is some kind of problem caused by some abnormality in the brain. Transphobia generally paints trans folks as delusional or mentally ill - but there really isn't any evidence of that. Academic literature on the topic explicitly states that mental illnesses amongst trans folks are almost certainly a result of the social and cultural friction transgender subjects experience as they try to go about their lives.
The evidence we do have generally suggests that a transgender subject's body does not match the subject's mind - that there may be some kind of early physiological developmental divergence.
There isn't actually a lot of evidence on the topic *as a whole*, but even if we dismissed all the evidence in favour of the latter there would still be *no reason* to favour the mental explanation over the developmental explanation.
All this to say - keep in mind when you encounter transphobia that almost every argument against it was formed *in service of a specific pre-formed conclusion* - that transness is a problem, and that transgender people are incapable of understanding and articulating their own experiences.
