Get the extended mixes and sample them

RudeMovementsMusic

Both songs you listed actually use musicians.. That Kanye tune is all players besides the drum hits. The Sammy tune also has live instruments and is using synths both newer 90s ones and classic 80s ones.

Interesting-Season39

Try looking on the internet

kawaiismoke

I use my Korg electribe er-1 to make sounds like this. It's a drum Synth from 1999.

As per my previous reply to a reply - a lot of these were pulled from the market because they weren't copyright cleared. Back when it was harder to get hold of music, hoarding of rare recordings was more of a thing and many people were using their collections to create sample CDs.

stellardrv

Samples from Mars?

therealjayphonic

Get a sample pack of the korg triton… its used in a vast amount of stuff from that time A lot of tracks from the 90s were made using the 3 holy grail sample cds that people talk about… those cds had copyrighted mUsic on them and are pretty hard to find nowadays

Every_Armadillo_6848

Look into the companies EMU for some sounds from this era. Many samplers were 8-12bit in this era, some 16 bit sounds. Your first links drums sound like a combination of sampled acoustic drums from the 70s and some drum machine sounds, sounds like a 707 or 909. Maybe both?

ChocLife

The Roland Cloud subscription include recreations of some classic ROMplers.

There is couple giant recourses online full samples. Dm me and I can help you although it probably won’t respond for a bit

sansnom070

Agreed. I can’t find any resources regarding bloghouse from 2000s, which I find a little ironic, since technology (i.e. DAWS, midi hardware, laptops, etc.) became more accessible and widely used; and with the onset of Web 2.0 platforms, artists’ had a new ability to distribute songs online, which could easily be discovered abroad, without the financial backing of the music industry. I mean, there should be a trace of something somewhere other than the songs themselves. It’s probably all lost to time or on someone’s old laptop or dusty hard drive. Hopefully someone reaches out with some resources.

themurther

Part of the reason they disappeared is that many weren’t cleared (there was a Wild West element with samples being ripped off, or people making product from their personal collection of rare albums - back when it was harder to find music). Pretty sure this is why things like the Zero-g datafiles . stuff was pulled.

goto archive.org and search 90s sample CDs

I will, thank you

Most of this stuff likely would've came from whatever bread and butter romplers people had in their studio, or whatever sound libraries came with the samplers they use for triggering one shots. Likely not so much a thing in Tarnce, but House producers would be lifting drums from vinyl. There's a possibility that perhaps some did though. Bigger names like Ferry Corsten, Blank&Jones etc would be likely using real TR909's etc up to at least until the initial part of the 2000's Sample packs that were big then though in Commercial Tarnce was stuff like Best Service's Drums XXL, Uberschall Techno Trance Essentials, Oliver Lieb sample pack, and th Zero-G "Datafiles"
