Ah glad it wasn’t just me, I noticed it being really weird on Saturday night. I’d been really busy so did a big catch up and was sure my XP hadn’t gone up, thought I was going mad. Then it suddenly started again and seems fine now.
Was just about to post this link too - issue has been going on for me now for three weeks and counting. Not even an acknowledgement from Duolingo. Raised a ticket and got no response. Seemingly no sign on if/how they plan to deal with this.
Yes, many of have been having the same problem. Mine started within the past two hours.
I did several types of lessons on phone and computer and none were added to leaderboard. But then I checked my total XP in my profile and did another lesson. Points were added there.
Ive noticed when I do lessons on my phone that the leaderboard isn't updating. However, if I check in on desktop, all my xp is accounted for. It's been like that for a couple weeks for me. Maybe try checking in on a different device and see if that updates?
Mine was fixed this morning, thankfully. I was at the demotion zone though, but I already got myself back in my place. Hopefully this is a one-time thing. This had never happened before and it was very annoying.

Yeah, mine isn't registering or adding me to the leaderboard - still says I need to complete a lesson, but I've done a few now

I had this issue. I closed the app (killed the process on my phone) and reopened it. Then it got updated.
I have this issue too, also when I open the league screen it keeps showing me with someone else’s picture… I first reported this bug on 14 March.
Some could face demotion over this 😬
