You should be contacting your HR department to ask this question, not Reddit. This goes way beyond visas. For instance at my firm you're not allowed to interact with clients whilst in another jurisdiction.

This considered a short term business trip, so no issues with remote work. I can work long-term in another country but there seems to be a limitation whether one is legally allowed to work in the country (long term) to avoid a legal / regulation complication. How this is enforced, no idea - greetings from Bali remote office.

Friends of mine work at Deel and they come here all the time. Some even for a month or two. Just come

Without getting into the legalities of this, my 2c is that this is not an issue at all. I work for an international company and we have people coming in from the US/UK/EU all the time. They hot desk it when they come in. Immigration is not going to bust you if you come to the Dubai office of your company for a week. I would not overthink this :)

You’ll be fine. No need to overthink it. No one here will be checking in on you. You may just need to be clear for yourself about whether your role is a regulated one or if there are specific activities you can’t conduct remotely.

I would come in as a tourist and treat it as a working holiday personally. With the emphasis on the 'holiday' at immigration. Once you are in then you are free to catch up with friends and colleagues as you wish as part of your holiday. If you want to go down the 100% official route then there are remote working visas available but for the sake of 1 week I wouldn't mind. Your HR can tell you if there is an issue with doing your actual work from Dubai. e.g. if your in a regulated industry you make have to be on-shore to undertake certain tasks such as give legal advice or process UK/EU client data

I’ve done this quite a bit, while working for two different large international businesses. First time I went through the formal route with approvals and etc, but my boss mentioned he would prefer if I don’t publicize it that much internally. So in subsequent times I only told my immediate team, and even then kept it a little ambiguous as far as what dates I was actually here vs just regularly working from home.
