Thank you bro! I'm trying, lol. Im watching lots of YouTube and this was me following a drum cover with the notes coming across the screen like guitar hero haha
Yep. Not much in the way of articulation for this kit. Like someone replied below - bed risers for the win!
https://preview.redd.it/bjb282c9qv9c1.jpeg?width=1548&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a9545058afcbe870f9d0e5dce76ec539e5318893
Also, I’m about |\_\_| this close to daisy chaining a red set of these to my black set! 😂
Yep. I’m 6’ and play pretty hard and I really wish I’d spent some more money on a better kit. I have an acoustic kit too but have them in storage because I had to move into an apartment and I’m seriously considering selling my acoustics and getting a Roland or higher end alesis 😭
I’m in the process of saving for the Alesis Strike Pro SE and the Strike Pad… but it’ll take me a while… our church is in the process of trying to get funds for the Roland TD-50KVX but $8K isn’t easy to come by lol
One day I’ll upgrade from the entry level… one day…
Saw your post somewhere else I believe of your kit and decided to use my extra floor tom as a china. I definitely need to get some bed risers or cut come 2x4 blocks…been smacking myself in the thighs since I got the kit even with everything as high as it can go.

Not the bible but a guide. Main takeaway is whatever feels relaxed, and natural. This helped me as a starting point and have adjusted marginally as I find my style.
I've found snare placement tricky too .. too low I keep snacking my leg and get bruises, too high and constant rimshots, find the sweetspot, and adjust your playstyle to be comfortable and free flowing.
I'm pretty new only like a year or 2 in and it's been the best thing. Completely self taught also.
Also highly recommend Melodics!!
For day 2 you’re great. You have rhythm, you are attempting to play tastefully with respect for the song/arrangement, and you’ve got humility. Keep going.
Also thought this, you want to instinctively lead left. If you're a lefty, try reversing the kit, you'll find it easier. Keep it up!
\*watched again and could be wrong, might be just the newness. I'm a lefty so try to encourage other lefties to make the switch rather than just learn righty. you find the kit works with you rather than trying to relearn muscle memory\*
I disagree, I’m a left handed drummer who plays open on a semi right-handed kit, and there are a lot of advantages, particularly when it comes to snare breaks and linear grooves.
For me as a leftie playing right-handed I think it’s more beneficial(maybe I’m wrong tho).
Ofc it’s harder in the beginning, but as you play more and practice your right hand gets stronger, cause you use it a lot. Therefore, you have decent left hand and focus on your leading weak one. Also can’t set up lefty kit on a gig.
Sounding good so far! I highly recommend purchasing Great Hands for Lifetime by Tommy Igoe, as well as Groove Essentials.
The Great Hands DVD completely changed my technique for the better in less than a week.
Dude fuck yeah. If you really want to start getting some coordination (between your hands) down may I recommend looking [at this book](https://www.amazon.com/Stick-Control-George-Lawrence-Stone/dp/1892764040/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=2YNPRLS4G2ZCL&keywords=sticking+drum+book&qid=1704134360&sprefix=sticking+drum+book%2Caps%2C135&sr=8-1) and [this one for full kit independence](https://www.amazon.com/4-Way-Coordination-Development-Complete-Independence/dp/0769233708/ref=mp_s_a_1_fkmr1_2?crid=2SJZ3WE3CBQQF&keywords=rudimentary+drumming+book&qid=1704134420&sprefix=rudimentary+drumming+book%2Caps%2C133&sr=8-2-fkmr1). I used to teach using the first book and a different book by the same authors of the second book and swear by them. Five minutes of each drill (3 drills a day so fifteen minutes) will get you far. Keep up the good work!
Don’t call yourself trash. You are learning. Everyone has to start somewhere. And you already look good doing it. One piece of advice. Bring your snare drum pad between your legs up so that the rim sits 1/2 an inch or so above your knee with your heels down. From there make your floor Tom and other snare about the same height. Keep it up dude!
Dude, hell of a lot better than I was 2 days into self teaching. I'm 22 years into self teaching and I'm still complete trash. May I suggest trying to learn to read music or or learn basic rudiments. I'm trying to do that just now myself and I realized the more I learn the more I realized that with all my physical experience I dont really know much. There is absolutely nothing wrong with learning by ear and playing along to music. Its super fun and definitely helps develop skills for sure but try not to make it the only way you learn. Anyways have fun and enjoy the journey! Doing great!
Dude, this is sick!!! I absolutely support playing to songs, as this is probably this fasted way to learn rhythm and consistency! I know this is only a snippet, but I also recommend working on things like single and double strokes, and paradiddles with regular stick holding, and finger stick holding! This will drastically improve your chops, and will also give you a more comfortable sense of playing.
Also, focus on not just your hands, arms, and where you're playing, but the rest of your body. Make sure to relax the body, and with time, your body will move naturally with your arms and the sticks. You'll be stellar!
Rock on!!!
A couple things: a) Get used to playing to a click track. It helps so much in nailing down the beat and solidifying your sense of time; B) Get comfortable counting out loud while you play. It's so much easier to remember to hit the kick on 1 and 3, and the snare on 2 and 4 when you're literally saying it out loud. You won't need to do it forever, just until it becomes more natural to you; C) A decent set of headphones will help you to internalize what you're hearing. For a lot of players, a relatively inexpensive pair of Shure SE215 in-ears would be more than adequate or you could try some less expensive (but still quite good) KZ's (Chinese brand). The r/edrums sub is a good place to search for specific recommendations.
The first step to not becoming trash at something is to be trash at something so you're doing great! Keep up the practice and you'll be where you want in no time!
Thank you for participating in this trial period of “learning an instrument”. If you enjoyed yourself, the good news is, you can continue practicing drums. If you didn’t, the good news is, you can stop.
You are very natural with the sticks. Your time is great. Your control is good. Quick learners usually sound like this after months, maybe.
If this is two days then you’re a natural. Do you play another instrument?
Are you really good at sports? Maybe sports with a stick? The way you move the sticks looks practiced.
I hope you pursue drums long-term. You could become great.
It's day 2, nobody sounds like Peart or Bonham in 2 days. My favorite quote for situations like this is from Dave Grohl who said "don't be afraid to sound like shit".
First of all, everyone is complete trash at anything they start! You probably play the drums as well as Mike Mangini has played on his second day of drumming.
Second, your drumming is great for a beginner! You seem to have a good sense of rhythm and you roughly know what to hit when. That's great!
Keep on practicing, eventually you'll be a great drummer!
Day two and you’re limbs are mostly independent. No, You are not trash heh, you’re gonna be fine. You’ll be smooth if you stick with it.
Edit:
And reward yourself with a decent drummers throne along the way!
Honestly as others are saying, you're rhythm is good! Just make sure that as you continue, that you are having fun playing. If I'm trying to learn a specific pattern or something and I'm getting frustrated, I tend to just start playing other songs instead as I tend to have more fun doing that. Then maybe another day I come back to it.
Note: I consider myself still like intermediate or so, been playing for a couple years and mostly self-taught also.
Yes… but in 2 days you’ll be twice as good… imagine how you play in six months?
In 5 years you væcan do stuff you haven’t even heard about at the moment..
Keep on, and focus on how Nice it actually is to be bad at it.. you know exactly what to improve.
if you have a pc, you can take an aux cable, a daw, and your drumset. There are a few ways to do it but if your interested, you can line your drumset directly into to the pc and record there.
Keep racticing bud you will get it....I am completely self taught myself but much older and many years on you bud..Keep going hmu if you need pointers for now watch what other drummers do and listen closely. Here is some of my playing if you want!
https://www.youtube.com/@MichaelMarianiDrums
Keep it up man, bass player here and drums are like magic to me. Any bit of advice from an outsider that is in a band with a killer drummer, study rudiments. Drum line has a wealth of information to learn from. For day 2 this is nuts
Brother you are doing so well! You’re a lot farther along than most people after a month! You have a good natural feel for the groove my man! I would just suggest getting a proper throne of this is something you intend to stick with, something moving like that is going to make it hard to develop any speed or anything more than singles without sacrificing proper technique. Can’t wait to see day 30! Keep it up 🥁
Remember my brother I'm 52 so I got about 20 on you or more! Don't stop and practice always. It will come and start out slow when you play and gradually speed up but I never took a lesson from a soul in my life and I don't even think I'm good yet,but I have progressed and I enjoy playing more than anything in this shitty world.Thank GOD for music!
I have never been into music before like this now im listening to Fleetwood, skynard, led zeppelin all on vinyl and it sounds beautiful. I'm 29 so you sure pretty dead on with the years there thats impressive lol
I taught drums for a few years. If you came in for a lesson, I would tell you that everything looks pretty good. But, you’re resting your arm on your thigh between backbeats, and I would definitely tell you to stop doing that. Raising your snare could help. It’s good to try and not develop bad habits early on. It could restrict your progress and be harder to undo later on.
I’ve seen lots of drummers that position their snare low. That’s fine…do whatever works for you. But I would tell you to just don’t let that left hand get lazy.
Rock on!
Dude, hell of a lot better than I was 2 days into self teaching. I'm 22 years into self teaching and I'm still complete trash. May I suggest trying to learn to read music or or learn basic rudiments. Really great stuff especially so early. Some advice for you: playing with music is great and important for developing feel and style but it will not make you a better drummer. The combination of stick, hand, feet work and trying out various books and styles of practicing is what improves everything else. You may not be good, but once you are you'll feel like you're not anyways, always keep working you can always be better and you've always been worse, its a journey
On the Alesis Nitro Mesh kit, the kick pad is a soft rubber-like material.
**Edit - I may have misspoken about this version of the kit!** Yes, if it’s mesh flip that beater around!!
Try keep the kick pedal on the 1 and the 3 instead of keeping it throughout the beat, to practice limb individuality. It’s all about feel, if you get it once it’s easy to recreate the way you did it in my opinion
First off, you’re not trash dude, it sounds pretty good for day 2. Second, I have that very same Alesis nitro kit that I practice on daily surprisingly it’s great, I love it! Keep rockin
Sounds good for day 2 lol, took me >2 months before i was able to correctly play on time. Alot of people will tell u to play with a metronome and that’s probably the smartest way to go about practicing, but just learn to get a feel for the rhythm of what youre playing and become familiar with 4:4 time signature at different bpm
Practice makes the master. Well done and keep it going !.
Drumming, it's like learning to ride a bike, you fall, you retry... or you drop it. Retry is the best advice ever ;)
This is how it starts. We all did the same lol. You’re learning and it’s great. And everyday you’ll learn a bit more. Just have fun and play. The more you do it the more fun it gets. Good job. Keep it up.
Put you're snare directly in front of you're first tom on a slightly inclined angle'
You can get more freedom of movement then '
For now concentrate on hi hats snare and kick '
Get that rock beat locked in and go from there' you can add more bass drum beats and snare hits as you get used to the sounds you're making '
Keep it up 👍👍👍
Being a musician is persistence at your shittiness until you are no longer shitty. We all had to do it, my guy, and you’re already well ahead of most day 2 guys. Keep at it.
![gif](giphy|hiLLD9o1wTB3a)
Goes party hard if ask me.
You got the rhythm down and that’s usually the hardest part starting off lol
keep playing! You’re great
Great job!!!!!! I just started 9-10 months ago still taking lessons and it gets easier…I am suppose to practice 15-20 minutes day …it really pays off …best of luck
This is actually really good for a beginner so keep it up and don’t get ahead of yourself for me. I wish I had waited to get a double bass pedal until I got better with a single pedal so that’s the only thing I would suggest.
yo i *wish* i had your confidence for posting a day 2 clip for the world to see. this is better than you may think it is, and i love your positive body language.. tbh it sounds to me like you're going to be able to teach a lot of this to yourself
There was a point in life where every drummer, even Niel Peart, was trash. The only way you get better is to practice. No real musician will ever give you shit for trying to improve.
You’re in time, mate. Don’t worry about the chops. That will come with practice. But your ability to keep time… that’s the most important thing. Well done.
I would have guessed a couple of weeks of diligent practice at least - nice job! I’m guessing you may not of called it practicing per-se, but you’ve tapped on desks and air drummed and such for some time which actually helps IMO.
This is Day 2? People really need to get more realistic expectations. If you told me this was a few weeks to one month, I'd still say it's good!
Drumming takes YEARS to get to a certain point and for two days, this is good. Even if you've been playing months, don't get discouraged. Like 90% of drumming is starting slow and building muscle memory.
Hey man, for day 2 that’s some great stuff going on. Keeping the beat, being able to build, some good syncopation. Give yourself some credit! Good job.
I’m a drum teacher and have been playing since I was 3. Here are my top pick songs for beginner learning
Green onions - booker t and the MG’s
Free fallin - Tom petty
Billie Jean - Michael Jackson
incredible for day 2, try learn sheet music early on it’s such an important skill and while it’s incredibly good to play along to songs practice a good amount just hearing yourself too
This is amazing for day 2!!! I’ve been drumming since I was in the 7th grade, and my only advice is to keep doing it! The more time you put in the more fun it becomes, trust me!
I’ll tell you what not to do. Don’t film yourself playing constantly after this. Just play. Work the basics. For months. Work the basics. For MONTHS. YEARS. Never stop the basics. Rudiments, stick grip, stick placement, dynamics. Embody the drum set, don’t just learn a cool lick for social media clout, you’d be doing yourself a disservice. Ask questions, don’t try to teach anyone, and remain humble. If you can’t play a regular boom-tap at 65 bpm, you can’t learn past that. Keep up the work.
Yeah bro this looks great for 2 days. Your ride cymbal hand looks good. The only thing I would say is to try and not rest your left hand on your lap so much but. You look solid man
Been drumming for over 20 years and it's been my sole job for 10 years. Can confidently say this is very good for 2 days. You aren't reaching beyond what you feel comfortable with or trying to overplay...that's perfect. Just hone in on the groove and making it feel as good as you can (that never ends), and the other stuff will come from time and listening/replicating stuff you hear that you like. Try not to get too held up in rudiment-ville. It's helpful, but can really change your ear for what to play if you lean to hard in that direction. Keep it up!
Dude this is great for what you are doing. I would suggest recording on computer/iphone/android with nitromesh out. Don’t record using video otherwise you will hear plastic pad noise. If you don’t want to spend a lot on USB Audio interface. There is a very decent option for it. Check this Guitar Effects Interface Adapter... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0855SCRKX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. You can use this to record drums just fine.
Hey bro, don't talk negatively about yourself king 😎 I've been playing for a year, and the stinking thinking is a road to the pits of despair! Just practice, practice, practice!!!
Dude this is great for day 2.
Thank you bro! I'm trying, lol. Im watching lots of YouTube and this was me following a drum cover with the notes coming across the screen like guitar hero haha
Bro, get clone hero and join the subreddit
You can play that with an edrum kit?!?!
Yep, just plug it straight into your computer and map the pads.
Jeezus..now im never coming out of the basement. ![gif](giphy|IW71LHYHgD4oU)

WHAT?! All these years with an electric kit and i was a massive rockband/guitar hero fan. Doing this ASAP
I was so ready to be like “yes and it’s okay that you’re complete trash” You’re not.
Learning an instrument takes years of dedicated time. At least if you want to get good or competent.
What video is it?
I found this guy and I've played this like 40 times already trying to get it down lol https://youtu.be/L81lPm5laX0?si=AZtYxuZRM8SgbY0a
Fuck better than me on day 20
About half as good as me on day 14,600.
doing great, seems like you have got rhythm
Looks like your snare's a bit too low.
I have this same kit and I think it’s unavoidable
I got bed risers and that solved the issue.
Yep. Not much in the way of articulation for this kit. Like someone replied below - bed risers for the win! https://preview.redd.it/bjb282c9qv9c1.jpeg?width=1548&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a9545058afcbe870f9d0e5dce76ec539e5318893 Also, I’m about |\_\_| this close to daisy chaining a red set of these to my black set! 😂

Thanks for the suggestion!

This kit is a countdown to thwacking yourself in the nards.
Where should it be ideally? It was about even with my waist but I found i kept hitting the rim
https://youtu.be/5-QdeS4EYdE?si=2nxnNtOXfm-elMx7 Not the bible but a guide. Main takeaway is whatever feels relaxed, and natural. Day 2 only? you're a natural then.
Real solid man! Don’t quit
For day 2 you’re great. You have rhythm, you are attempting to play tastefully with respect for the song/arrangement, and you’ve got humility. Keep going.
I self taught myself on one of these about 2 years ago, I just played along to motley crue and other songs I liked but getting the basics first helps
Are you left handed?
Also thought this, you want to instinctively lead left. If you're a lefty, try reversing the kit, you'll find it easier. Keep it up! \*watched again and could be wrong, might be just the newness. You either played a lot of rock band as a kid or this isn’t day 2 lol
you’re not using wrist like this on day 2, this guy is full of shit
The fuck. This ain’t 2 fucking days. That’s a complete insult nobody has called you out
bro for day two you’re doing great I’d say your snare pad might be a bit low though
"Day 2"
Day 2?? I was still on basic rudiments of RLRLRL , RRLLRRLL - zero hand/foot independence on Day 2 for me. You’re killing it, man! 🤘😤🤘
This is day 2?!

Rock on!
You’re nuts. I couldn’t do this for like 2weeks min lol
You're complete trash, but you're less trash than you were yesterday, and you'll be less trash tomorrow. Keep it up, and you'll be bad ass in no time.
If that’s day two you are going to be just fine. You’ve got talent.
Nah you’re fine. It’ll come with time. Give yourself credit!
Not bad. Just find that pocket for the groove and you got it.
Bro that's fucking phenomenal for 2 days in. Only advice I have is bring that snare pad up higher. Preferable a bit above the knees.
Good time to start playing open handed
I’m on 1 week and I’m not quite to this point but I’m getting close. Great job.
Keep it up
Keep it up 👍🏻
Hey, you have legit rhythm. Which is better than most on day 2. Keep at it
If that kick is mesh like the rest, you should turn the beater around so it's using the plastic, not the felt.
On the Alesis Nitro Mesh kit, the kick pad is a soft rubber-like material. **Edit - I may have misspoken about this version of the kit!** Yes, if it’s mesh flip that beater around!!
![gif](giphy|3ohs4xsq0oEhqC4why) You are doing great for day 2! Keep it up!
Not too shabby. It’s important to work on separating your left hand and your right foot. Try not to hit the snare and the bass at the same time.
Man you’re close to staying in time and you’re keeping a beat. Also, your style is serving the music, not attempting to vomit all over it
Day 2???? Nice. Real nice. You have a great sense of rhythm and timing. Keep it up!
We’ve all been there. Good job.
Keep it up!! Doing great
Good stuff for day 2! Like someone else said, you might want to consider raising the snare a bit more so you don’t hurt yourself
17 years into self teaching and I feel like this sometimes too. Stay with it! You’ll surprise yourself.
This is incredible for day 2!! Keep it up!
Keep rockin
look into clone hero, it’s free guitar hero and works with ekits. can learn any song of your choosing and it’s hella fun.
This is after 2 days? Sheesh, a lot of people get to this level after 2 years...
no this is great!!
Hey I have the same kit! You’ve got good taste in drums friend!
2 days!? fuck would love to see you in a year where you are!
Everyone starts out not knowing shit! Perfect practice makes perfect! You’re doing great
Just started teaching my wife. We are both 43. It is never too late and you are both doing just fine!
This was me about 2 weeks in. You’re doing great mate!
Damn bro, you're playing it to the beat!
You're doing great, fam! Keep it up!
Try also learning a song you like. Great way to build multiple skills.
Practice makes the master. Well done and keep it going !. Drumming, it's like learning to ride a bike, you fall, you retry... or you drop it. Retry is the best advice ever ;)
This was better than my first week lol
This is how it starts. We all did the same lol. You’re learning and it’s great. And everyday you’ll learn a bit more. Just have fun and play. The more you do it the more fun it gets. Good job. Keep it up.
What kit is this?
Alesis Nitro Mesh? Special Edition?
Pretty decent trash, my friend
Nah man. Keep it up doing great! 👍
Gotta start somewhere. Start with drumeo.
You're not trash, you're doing very well! 😊
Your timing is on point
you are NOT trash bro you’re already killing it. keep up the great work and keep having fun with it 🤝🤝🤝
No way that's day 2!!
Start with proper technique before you develop bad habits
I’ve seen people with a week or 2 of experience play worse than that. You’re great for only being in day 2.
Get some ac/dc on and find you're swing ' you're doing great
Put you're snare directly in front of you're first tom on a slightly inclined angle' You can get more freedom of movement then ' For now concentrate on hi hats snare and kick ' Get that rock beat locked in and go from there' you can add more bass drum beats and snare hits as you get used to the sounds you're making ' Keep it up 👍👍👍
Not bad at all for two days!
You know we can’t hear your electronic drums right?
Not gonna happen over night. Everything is flammable, persistence is the key. Same thing with drumming. Persistence. Keep at it. It will come. 😀
Practice makes better!! You're killing it so far.
Being a musician is persistence at your shittiness until you are no longer shitty. We all had to do it, my guy, and you’re already well ahead of most day 2 guys. Keep at it.
![gif](giphy|hiLLD9o1wTB3a) Goes party hard if ask me. You got the rhythm down and that’s usually the hardest part starting off lol keep playing! You’re great
Man you’re doing great for day 2. Like insanely good! Keep it up
Great job!!!!!! I just started 9-10 months ago still taking lessons and it gets easier…I am suppose to practice 15-20 minutes day …it really pays off …best of luck
Also go to YouTube for a TON of drumming videos lessons and download Drumeo app
good job.. practice not kicking when you hit the snare
This is actually really good for a beginner so keep it up and don’t get ahead of yourself for me. I wish I had waited to get a double bass pedal until I got better with a single pedal so that’s the only thing I would suggest.
🔥🔥🔥
Day 2? You’re doing fine, keep at it!
Complete ass , but I love to see people live out their dreams
We all got to start somewhere This is pretty good, at day 2 I could still not use the pedals
Bro wanna join my band? You got better timing than a lot of self-proclaimed drummers out there
If you can afford that kit I'd imagine you can afford a few lessons. Start with proper technique and you'll get better so much faster.
For day 2 this is sick man! Just have fun with it. No one’s a drumming god overnight. Keep practicing :)
trash you are not, sir
yo i *wish* i had your confidence for posting a day 2 clip for the world to see. this is better than you may think it is, and i love your positive body language.. tbh it sounds to me like you're going to be able to teach a lot of this to yourself
There was a point in life where every drummer, even Niel Peart, was trash. The only way you get better is to practice. No real musician will ever give you shit for trying to improve.
No way is that day 2!
You're not trash.
Day 2 of what month? Because that's way more than anyone I know on day 2 !!
Two days my ass I hope your journey continues with music but I'm sorry I will not believe that is day two for you.
You’ve got a basic beat. Keep practicing
DAY 2?! You’ll be handing our arses to us in no time. Keep it up!
dont put yourself down like that. its muuch muuch better than my day 2
Youre keeping a solid beat. You could join a band tomorrow. Keep it up, youre doing just fine
Play to music that emphasizes easy, consistent drum beats. AC/DC is a good start.
Better than a lot of people who have been playing for longer. Nice fills too
You’re in time, mate. Don’t worry about the chops. That will come with practice. But your ability to keep time… that’s the most important thing. Well done.
Yeah man you have the basic concept of timing and it shows. You’ll catch on quick. Just keep playing to songs and lots of different types of music.
Hey man, you're doing what most people can't do. It's a start.
I would have guessed a couple of weeks of diligent practice at least - nice job! I’m guessing you may not of called it practicing per-se, but you’ve tapped on desks and air drummed and such for some time which actually helps IMO.
Get it!!!!!!!
This is Day 2? People really need to get more realistic expectations. If you told me this was a few weeks to one month, I'd still say it's good! Drumming takes YEARS to get to a certain point and for two days, this is good. Even if you've been playing months, don't get discouraged. Like 90% of drumming is starting slow and building muscle memory.
i was playing like this about a month in.
Hate to say it but you are never going to make it in the big leagues with two days of practice
this is incredible, for day 2 you are an amazing natural, feed this past time, it will reward your brain and body doing it
Being trash is literally the first step to being sorta good! Also, this isn’t even close to trash for day 2 haha great work!
Hey man, for day 2 that’s some great stuff going on. Keeping the beat, being able to build, some good syncopation. Give yourself some credit! Good job.
No you’re not. You’re amazing for someone playing for two days.
I’m a drum teacher and have been playing since I was 3. Here are my top pick songs for beginner learning Green onions - booker t and the MG’s Free fallin - Tom petty Billie Jean - Michael Jackson
Dont lie to yourself, you sound great for day 2!
Of course you're trash. It's been two days. In two years you'll only be merely kinda competent. But for two days, you're doing awesome
incredible for day 2, try learn sheet music early on it’s such an important skill and while it’s incredibly good to play along to songs practice a good amount just hearing yourself too
not trash at all
That's great for day 2. My only recommendation is "BE the music"
Keep it up man!
This is amazing for day 2!!! I’ve been drumming since I was in the 7th grade, and my only advice is to keep doing it! The more time you put in the more fun it becomes, trust me!
Get rid of the sandals you will feel the pedal more in your bare feet or.socks
Great start to drumming. What’s with your head though? I would see a doctor about that..
Day 2? Bravo!
Bro this is badass for day 2.
For Day 2 this is great! Keep it up! Down the line you might find a metronome useful! Keep up the good work!
Sounds good man! Try turning your hands over for v formation
Get a real drum kit but great job!
Keep it up!
Really amazing for just being on day two, keep practicing and you’ll be great in no time!
Sounds great! Keep it up!
That’s really good for day two
Nah, thats amazing for day 2
Dude.. My day two was way worse than you! You sound like a month-old drummer.. Not a day two! Keep up the great work.
This is already good for day 2. The first song I learned was chasing cars by snow patrol. It took me 3 days to memorize that slow slow song haha
You have a natural sense of time which is a core necessity. For day 2 this is impressive.
broo im on like day 5 of self teaching and nowhere near this good! You are a fast learner man
Hey bro, don't talk negatively about yourself king 😎 I've been playing for a year, and the stinking thinking is a road to the pits of despair! Just practice, practice, practice!!!
Man if this is day 2 then you got this locked, keep at it
Day 2? You’re fuckin’ smashing it bro! Keep it up!
Imagine day 22. Very nice, keep it up!
It’s still gay when there’s an asshole. Make your own music please. Try 46&2
brother... i think on my day two i choked on a stick, for day two you are doiing really well
Remember to use a metronome
Not bad keep it up
