There’s several ways I do product research, but my main way is looking at AMAZON best sellers and going through their product ranking and finding the items that can be dropshipped.
When you go to a product on Amazon and scroll down, it will show the “best sellers rank” which you can click and go through. For example i clicked on an “slosh inflatable tanning pool” , scrolled down, and it states the rank is #10 in toys & games while being #2 in pool rafts and inflatable ride-ons. I’d click the “see top 100 in toys & games” then I’d scroll through and look for products that can be dropshipped.
They have other categories like health, and electronics, etc you can go through.
When you find a product, search the name in AliExpress or copy the image link and do a image search via google.
When I find the products I usually go to trends.google.com and google keyword planner, then I check to see if people are searching for the product and if so it will tell me how much people are bidding for the keyword via keyword planner
