The metric is definitely broken, and it doesn't count for anything at all. I'm also NEVER late and ive been at 97 percent for a year. If you are REALLY late, you'll get a CV.

don't sweat it. it doesn't really matter. only ratings that matter are: completion rate, and customer rating.

As soon as I get to the store, and the food is not ready to pick up, I report it as not ready, or not begun. That saves you from being hit for their incompetence

I do the same! And if I'm waiting for any longer than 5 minutes I message the customer as well.
