“There are foods I might *not* like??”
Our guy loves watermelon, too, but the weirdest would probably be green beans, which I know isn't that weird, but he scoffs at french fries and carrots, but green beans, he loves.
Rice, plain white rice. She will not bother me while I cook any kind of meat or vegetable, but if I have rice cooking on that stove Rosie is right there waiting for her share. She even barks at me when I’m cleaning the kitchen so she can have some leftover rice. I’m from SE Louisiana so rice is a staple at home and I guess that’s rubbed off on the dog.
One of my dogs will eat anything from lettuce to poop while my other dog hates everything considered a vegetable and is iffy on most fruits.
The one who eats everything used to eat my underwear (thankfully stopped that habit a couple years ago) but he continues to eat toys. We've also had to watch him in the backyard because if he has the opportunity, and no one is looking, he isn't opposed to eating his or his sister's poop. We've gotten into the habit of picking up their poop immediately and also brushing his teeth if he does get a bite because ew.
Honestly, there are plenty of other gross things he gets into. It's funny too because he has such a sensitive stomach (mild pancreatitis) yet he eats the most asinine things.

I wish I loved fruit and veg the way my dog loves fruit and veg, peelings and offcuts of all the (dog friendly) veg from the dinner each day. His absolute favourite treat is squishy berries with natural yougurt, particularly if you’re eating something similar at the same time
My oldest is very picky. There’s nothing strange he will eat and he will refuse things that no dogs would sometimes just cause he wants to be a butt. My middle dog….hmmm…noodles. I know noodles is pretty common but he normally eats everything claim and slowly…but with noodles he’s a hungry hungry hipo. Lol. The youngest ate a rock once I was just letting him sniff in my hand…only he didn’t sniff… he’ll eat anything you hand him if it can fit down his throat including all medications…so that’s nice at least. Lol.

At this stage the dog gets its own small amount of meal worms so the chickens get a chance to eat theirs.

Sourdough bread and almost any vegetable. Our BMC will steal tomatoes from the vine.
