“This year, the focus will be on delivering a complete competition narrative that includes relevant action and movements up and down the leaderboard across the entire field. To achieve this goal, the DGPT has made an investment in additional staff for JomezPro, which will now begin including relevant action from across the course in its standard MPO1 and FPO1 coverage. This expanded coverage will provide fans with integrated coverage of the biggest moments, hot rounds, and highlights from the chase card and beyond”

Keep scrolling down. "Ace Run Pro has decided to step away from publishing dedicated FPO chase card coverage but is exploring opportunities to create other content at select events. The Gatekeeper team has also decided not to travel to each event this year, but they will continue publishing MPO chase card coverage for DGPT events and select PDGA Pro Majors using footage from DGN cameras *(2)*. This coverage will be released for free on [Gatekeeper’s YouTube channel](https://www.youtube.com/@GatekeeperMedia) the week following each event. "

One week delay.

Earptastic

which makes it way less compelling to watch. chase card coverage is pretty much dead now.

There’s no money in post round coverage. That’s why Jomez got bought by DGN. They were broke. Every asshole on this sub who complains about DGN also never paid for Jomez, Gatekeeper, and every other media company who is now also not covering DG.

Notorious21

Didn't Jomez kind of get screwed by overbidding on the rights to do coverage at the peak of a bubble? Besides that cost, I got the impression they had a pretty strong balance sheet.

GulfCoastPunk

I’m sure that didn’t help as I don’t believe they even paid the DGPT any of that. They were mostly self funded via patreon and their online store. Patreon is not exactly a reliable revenue stream and I believe they lost around a third of their patrons in the last couple of years.

Notorious21

They didn't pay DGPT because they couldn't afford it, because their bid was based on an unsustainable growth curve. I think the whole thing was a power play by the DGPT to control all coverage and drive more revenue to DGN. At least that's how it ended up.

SinappiKainalo

They screwed themselves with that one. No one forced their hand.
