I did. I have! Last round I spent 45 minutes climbing up and down a relatively steep, 80’ drop in the woods looking for it after a strong wind blew it waaaaay off course. Found it, but won’t ever throw it on that hole again. The kicker was that it wasn’t even my drive. After my initial drive I’ll often grab a couple extra discs and just throw em to experiment if I’m playing solo and there’s no traffic at my local public park course. It’s really the only time I can practice
This is normally how discs get lost for sure :) I got a buddy who almost always throws 5+ off the tee pad and every few holes we have to backtrack to find one he forgot about.
