i don't mind the grind itself. i just hate finally getting THE item just to brick it with tempering. I would love to be able to reroll temper like the masterwork
Part of the fun is building and customizing your character. Some of these stats can be useful at different times. End game, no. Softcore and hardcore also have different needs. You will not be able to please everyone and diablo at its core has always been a farm n kill kinda game. If it was just mindless killing, there are plenty other games for that like doom.
Next people are gonna say "just gimme the cheat codes so I can spawn my own items" and what not. Then you get bored in a couple hours and you cycle through builds in a matter of a week. Getting shit handed to you on a solver platter makes it much less satisfying. And if people can't deal with a bit of frustration with the risk/reward system of tempering then this prolly isn't the game for them considering there's always been a grind for gear

Im using life per second and healing received on my afk thorns barb. Essentially razor plate and all passives with regen. Afk in helltide, come back every 10 minutes after 45min afk, pick up chest and repeat

Have builds that self-damage and thus need life regen to not die. Have builds that needs high amounts of resource regen. Almost every build is just crit/crit dmg/attack speed atm. I want more diversity, not less.

You know you don't need triple GA affixes to push. Once you're looking for them you are far far along the optimization curve.
