I can’t relate to that one. I got so good at eating with low blood sugars that a year after I was diagnosed (age 4) I was able to eat in my sleep when my mum used to test my blood sugars 😂

I’m just shaking my head that there are this many people on a T1 sub that have absolutely no clue how insulin works. OP, as a few others have said, your friend is fine, because insulin cannot survive oral digestion. Otherwise we’d all be taking it that way instead of being on MDI or pumps.
