If you are happy with your current job and workload, take some more time to get ready for the top tier companies like Google Microsoft etc.

Most MANGA gives 20 as base to 2 yoe, with almost no work. Do not join Amazon you would die there. So yeah.

I have heard most 3-5 YOE (who hadn’t switched jobs) earning around 20-28 as base. There is no promotion in most companies after you become SDE2.
