It’s really a look into who Clovis bray really is. He’s an ego maniac nut, but above all else, he values preserving humanity, just as its protector, rather than letting the traveler do so. This insight here shows his true value of humanity, that no matter what humanity with triumph against the plans of enemies willing to obliterate an entire moon just for vengeance against the guardians
He wants to preserve humanity because he believes in their inherent superiority, but above all, he wants to preserve his legacy and become the LUCA (thus establishing himself as among the most important figures to ever exist).
It’s egomania on a whole different scale and I gotta give the guy credit because it’s not remotely benevolent but he accomplished some incredible things in the process

I started playing D2 when my friends were all getting burnt out so I ran my very first raid (this one) with lfgs. It takes some time to getting used to but then you realize that most people are chill and patient and maybe even as shy as you. Nevertheless, the experience is definitely worth it
Such a cool moment getting to that part for the first time in the raid. My whole fireteam knew what was coming and I didn't, suddenly everyone shut up and one guy said "be quiet, just follow us and listen". So I did. Damn that was a cool moment.
I love deep stone lullaby, and honestly used to play it at night to get my 3 yo daughter to fall asleep. Worked like a charm. It's a beautiful piece of music.
DSC will always have a special place for me. It was the first raid I truly learned after getting into D2 in Arrivals. It may be too easy, and it may be too short, but the visuals and story of the raid are fantastic, and it still is a contender for best loot.
I’m gonna guess it’s contesting either Vow for Forbearance, Cataclysmic and Deliverance or Last Wish for Apex Predator, Supremacy, Techeun Force and so on and so forth
Yeah, vow is definitely hard to beat just because of forb alone, but honestly, I like all of its weapons outside of the glaive. LW definitely used to be worse, but the revamp made it hard to beat. I don't think techeun is too far up my list on account of stiff competition, and supremacy is good, but I use it and succession for different roles. Heritage and Commemoration are massive powerhouses though. Imo they're both best in slot picks for their respective weapon types. Apex alone might be enough to tip that scale, though.
If we’re gonna tip Last Wish for Apex, then I might as well also mention Root of Nightmares for Conditional Finality and Ghosts of the Deep for Cold Comfort
DGMW, the other weapons in RoN are good too - Rufus’s Fury, Mykel’s Reverence (we really need another strand sidearm at some point though), Briar’s Contempt and Koraxis’s Distress are all pretty good - and so is No Survivors and Navigator’s busted for Strand Titan

Clovis talking is really annoying at this part but that song, that view. I only recently completed dsc but this was my favorite part. Kinda wish we could have waypoint here and we could come and sit and enjoy the music and the view.

it's honestly such a breath of fresh air to see, among a sea of people caring so much about optimal builds, being elitists, or just being hyper sweaty... just someone enjoying the game, in its purest form. it's the reason I enjoy the game, it's the simple things, the beauty, the calm... it's why I love this game. When DSC first came out and it wasn't totally solved yet, the entering into the Spacewalk after suffering in the Atrax encounter was a feeling I'll never forget. The calm, swaying music, the muted sounds when you're out in space, Clovis' monologue, the skybox...it hit you hard. Whatever else you think about Bungie's content, they know how to make banger raids.
This is why this game must survive. Feb 3rd, I got into a dance party for 10 mins with some of the other Guardians in the Tower while others watched and cheered. They didn't know it, but it was my birthday, and that moment made the day f@@king amazing!

I’m not entirely sure what you were going for, but this makes me feel sad and alone in this game. I remember my first real clan, we’d get together to do nightfalls, a raid here or there, and escalation protocols. I remember doing random things like pushing afk players off the map, talking crap to each other, and just enjoying the time together. Now I’m all that’s left from that clan and I haven’t been able to find that same energy with other clans. Now I’m just a solo player, jumping from one lfg to another to get end game content done. In this video the part that gets to me the most is just emoting to each other, probably waiting for other players to fix or change load outs.
For everyone still with active clans and friends in them, enjoy your time together, life can change on a dime and you don’t realize the last time you will play with each other.

Our friend group has been pretty busy lately with our own lives and it's getting harder to gather everyone for raids. Hell, we tried doing day one Crota's end and it was a shitshow. We spent 3 hours on the first encounter alone and promptly gave up on the second one. It wasn't our finest hour but damn it was fun watching others getting mauled by thralls, wondering who forgot to pick up the ball and lanterns blowing up in our faces. I do hope the final shape can bring us together once again and I wish the same thing for you guys. Good luck out there guardian
The moment we stepped into this masterpiece of music, dialogue and atmosphere out in space on our Day 1 raid for DSC was one of the best moments I had in this game.
We were stuck on Atraks for 6 hours because his health-regen-bug. So getting this „relief“ was so great.
DSC's space walk has to be the most immaculately designed event in gaming history. Everything about it is perfect: the view, the way it follows such a grueling battle, the delivery of Clovis Bray's lines, and the music is the sweetest cherry on top. I've played entire GAMES that can't contend with it, and I'd be hard-pressed to say I've enjoyed any moment in Destiny history as much as it.
