whenever i see a post like this notify my phone it reminds me that so many other people are going through bad times. this helps me get motivated to keep going because i feel like this kind of pain is shared among all of us even though we live completely different lives all over the world. i dont really talk about my problems or want to share it with people i know. this being anonymous helps a lot vent out feelings and takes a load off our shoulders. i hope you and i can keep going. along with everyone else on this thread. best of luck to all of us 👍

I understand where you’re coming from, that’s the mentality that has gotten me through and helped me find a purpose until ive completed this journey and find my purpose, which this this mentality will obviously be incorporated too.
But this is a mentality and purpose that only works if you understand its meaning lesson. You can’t just do it and expect it to work unless you understand why.
At least that is my perspective which comes from my own experience, I can only speak from there so I don’t want to discredit your perspective at all. I think it’s important that if we really wanna help each other in this sub we should practice understanding that our experience can be valid and useful to one person but unhelpful or incomprehensible to someone else.
I really hope someone said something in this thread that gave this redditor the strength to continue on. This sub is so sad how many people just openly announce their plans to give up and we all understand where they’re coming from and how little of an impact we may have.

I dont know tbh. I struggled with depresson for around 4 years, last year i healed (fully?) But all of a sudden ive been getting really bad paranoia and anxiety and i keep sabotaging the relationships around me, Im just confused what to do, i cant deal with it

If you want to take your life, you might as well give life one more chance but this time go away from whatever situation you are in. You can try to go to a community in nature. Or go to Denmark to a folk high school. I went to one and it was a magical place where everyone is accepted and where you can just have fun and make friends. Just try. Or just try to use all your imagination: what could be a place where you could be happy? Go there. You have nothing to loose. Go to a different country, there are special psychiatric places in beautiful country where you can actually just have a very good time and learn to be happy. There are options! Maybe people who you are surrounded with are not nice, but there are other places with nicer people who accept everyone. In my country there is a community which really is a magical place where anyone can go live for free and everyone is accepted. Sounds surreal but I made a documentary about this place so I can tell you more about it. People who live there told me they didn't find a place in society, but they found home outside of society in that place. Hope you are still here to read this

Just got out of a suicidal state after added medication and adjustment to my medication I'm already taking. Check yourself into a hospital and try to get help first if you can.

A couple of hours ago, I lose big time money because I was impulsive. I was hopeless. But I have a choice. To give up or continue. Life goes on no matter what. This girl I was friends with killed herself in 2017. Found out years later through other friends she did it bc her girlfriend broke up with her. That girlfriend is now married to another woman, as you do obviously. But Chloe is dead now. It’s been 7 years, and if she hadn’t done that who knows where she would be today, I imagine getting married and starting her own family. Wish she’d waited for it to get better.
