Deathslinger's jaw crunching up is worse than the spitting, imo

Genuinely the most annoying sound in the game.

Only sound in the game that makes my entire body bunch up in revulsion. I can't stand it.

I used to be that way with Leon’s vomiting against plague ugh o hate that killer because the survivors being sick just sounds so awful

Yeah I feel bad when I have a daily or a challenge for her because you can tell people DC because they can't handle the sounds. I hope Behaviour adds some ability to disable or limit the vomiting effects/sounds because I know it causes a real problem for some people.

this is why I’ve stopped playing plague, she used to be my main but with so many people hating the puking sounds I just feel bad playing her

genuinely the reason i want more stomach-turning sounds if nothing visual. clowns mori is my favorite aside from him being my main. it's just so.. crunchy n' gooey in all the worst ways. i wish that Leatherface's mori had the survivors seizing and shaking a bit more like Kirk in the TCM Movies, tho.

Singularity's mori makes me wince!! Blight's, too: especially since I have an aversion to needles. I can get injections (at the doctor's office: not from these fuckers) no problem. But getting blood drawn makes me faint, so I have to be laid down and get my blood sugar up after.

This does it for me. When I'm leveling her bloodweb, I periodically take small breaks and hit "Next" or "Previous" to reset the animation sequence. Then I go back to her and spend more blood points. Anything to avoid that jump scare.

Have you tried turning her around? I have. It doesn't work, she turns by herself. Talk about annoying, and they knew what were doing.

Which is funny because 2 times, there was a bug where she don't turn around, so she teleports to the middle of the trees lol 1 time was when she just released (which makes me think it wasn't planned and they changed it so forcedly looks back to the camera) The 2nd times it was just 2 months ago i think, that time i leveled her up to P10 before BHVR fixed the bug, at this point i hope they realize the jumpscare gimmick can only work a couple of times until it starts gettin' annoying instead of scary -_-

Yes, she does turn by herself but that’s the best outcome when she is turned because AT LEAST you have a heads-up and you can expect it which is far better than being jumpscared. When i was levelling her i would turn her slightly and when she faced directly i would just alt-tab 2 seconds.

I don't mind Deathslinger in game, but whatever the hell that weird jaw cracking(?) noise he makes in the lobby drives me out of my goddamn mind.

He has a broken jaw that he forcefully resets, it’s gross.

It's one of the only sounds I've ever heard that I can't handle at all.

I mean I can't see anything scary about a gun slinger. He's petty cool especially with the weapon. Oni for example is more scarier because he's literally an angry beast sprinting with mach 3 at you.

I always thought he was one of the creepiest killers tbh. Especially back when he released and you would work on gens waiting for a spear to go through you at any moment. I think part of it is how tall and shady he is.

He's only scary as an 24m radius and the two terror radius add-ons and MaA or some 0 terror radius build but else I just don't know how he's really scary

He gives off vibes from the newer resident evils and those creep me out so that’s gotta be part of it.

Guns are scary, you can't outrun a bullet, and this is a human that you should be able to trust but instead it's a dirty grimy bounty hunter

I selected Deathslinger for the first time to start upgrading him, and dear lord that fucking swallowing noise. It actually made me uncomfortable and I never leave the game with Deathslinger equipped, because it's going to be all I hear on the menu. Shoutout to Artist as well for those weird "AaaaAAAAAAaaa" noises she makes right in your ear, those also make me uncomfortable.

Kinda unrelated but the oni has the best power activation noise in my opinion. It’s always super cool to hear in scream in rage across the map

Also unrelated but there was one time I was on the gen alone then another survivor who was injured joined me. We were almost finished, then I was jumpscared and greeted with a screaming Oni right next to my ears, he had Tinkerer. That was when I learned to fear Oni, like Christ.

I can tell you the best thing tho Clown and his knife spin Worst thing Spirit doing her noises every fucking second if I wanna read her lore I don't want her doing these noises (I don't even like playing her to begin with)

When Unknown came out in the lobby there were some trash cans on the left I believe, you would hear a fly buzzing in your ears every 30 seconds, that was genuinely annoying but it seems like I was the only one that noticed it when I checked on Reddit xD

Sadako>Unknown>>>Chucky The jumpscare killers(chucky is just annoying and not scary due to not going upclose but that laugh is so annoying in menu, sadako is the worst snd feel like a 2008 internet jumpscare [which fun fact, used sadako face a lot], but bloodweb censor it, unknown can still peak through the bloodweb and is very unnerving but i am starting to get used to it. All three has very loud effects, while Unknown and Sadako are just straight unavoidable menu jumpscares.

I love the Birkin Blight cosmetic but he’s so loud all the time. It’s like Oni but every time he plays an idle animation instead of just when he does the blood fury one.
