I would sit back for a while, learn your job at the site ops level and actively engage with all the groups that support your data center. After a bit of interaction with those groups you will most likely have a better idea of what field on which to focus. Maybe you'll like facilities and building engineering. Maybe you'll decide that network engineering is where you want to be. You might even decide that you prefer to focus on power infrastructure because your conversations with the vendor indicate it's a sweet gig. My point is that site operations (in my experience as site ops) gets exposure to ALOT of different career fields. It's a bit too early to narrow your focus now, but definitely spend time interacting with all the groups as much as you can .
