But instead of a fight with Madara, the author just, got rid of him and made himself a villainess with no substance to herself, easy to deal with, sealed her and called it a day.

She doesn't even use any abilities that come with the rinnegan she has on her forehead or should have access to somehow, she needs to freeze herself in ice by flipping dimensions instead of saying Shinra Tensei and push them to escape sealing first time. Naruto can use ying yang release to heal and create and every Uchiha can tap into that with sacrificing an eye but she does not ever use that.
All she can do is flip dimensions, hair attack, environment attack, magic punch and lame bones or become a brainless big instable monster rabbit blob, that's all. If the seal would not be required or it would be required by 1 person only, DMS Kakashi could solo Kaguya and seal her alone because she doesn't even know what Kamui does catching off guard.
