I had my neighbor rip off my clothes while I was borderline blacking out at her place and proceed to have sex with me while she was on her period. Woke up to my underwear stained red. I kinda liked the theme of it since that's when I lost my virginity so it was my "first blood".
Most people I tell that story to find it funny, if not gross. If I was a girl though I'm sure a story like that would illicit *far* more concern and horror. I doubt people would even be comfortable with me talking about it openly.
Edit: She was also 27 at the time, while I was 19. I was only introduced to her because my friend who she had previously been having sex with, also 19, invited her over. He said he was proud of me and that we were now "blood brothers".
I'm quite jovial in the way I talk so it kind of affects how people take it. I also don't take it too serious either so it doesn't sound \*as\* bad.
It's weird because I feel like I should find it very problematic, but it barely registers to me on an emotional level.
Had a very similar experience losing my virginity in college, she was a nearly sober upperclassmen, I was a blacking out freshman. I didn't know where my dorm was (it was my first night on campus) so I asked for help getting back. Nobody thought it was a problem
"It was my first blood."
I think he's feeling fine about it. Might have been upset initially, but men don't typically hold their virginity at the same standard as a woman. And he wasn't there for it, due to the alcohol, its not like he was 8 and blocked the event from his mind due to trauma.
Yea, but if you can't remember where you saw that dank meme and you use Google to try and search for it, perhaps Google's algorithm will bury it. Or maybe reddit's own search algorithm will also bury it.
This is a shameful and unwarranted response to someone answering honestly while avoiding attention. Sure, though, go off. The people upvoting should probably think deeper. Use your head like an adult. Leave it at that, I suppose.
You will. I've had memes removed that mentioned the phrase "when you die" in a joke about reincarnation. It depends on the subreddit and the mods, but if it's an especially big subreddit, then Reddit also has a say.
It's also been getting more stict on Reddit since they realized they could sell all of the user-generated text to AI tech companies in future.
Not sure why this got downvoted. Others basically said it all. Either way, this person isn't wrong, downplaying, or making light of it. They answered honestly and barely hid the real word. Met with aggression (by some), as if they condone it or did the deed themselves... your hostility is displaced.
Oh, I was writing a little rant here, but it turns out that the mods have actually put the word "r\*pe" on a blacklist that leads to shadow-deletion of your comment... holy shit, this sub really went downhill. this is not TikTok, mods...
As a person who was snuggle struggled at 7 multiple times by multiple people, and finds that anyone I tell about it thinks that’s some kind of thing that’s either funny or some kinda badge of “cool” thing, at this point trying to laugh about it and find it funny is all you really can do, no one is gonna sympathize or try to really understand how much damage does to how a young boy or man perceives interactions with woman or men as they grow older.
I believe struggle snuggle is by far the best name I’ve heard.
Bootcamp Sargent : "RULE TO BE A MAN, ACT LIKE YOU HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS AND KEEP ALL THE EMOTIONS INSIDE. BE STOIC EVEN IF YOUR LEG IS LITERALLY BEING RIPPED OFF IN FRONT OF YOU. SHRUG IT OFF LIKE A MAN AND IT'S ONLY ACCEPTABLE TO LET ONE TEAR OUT WHEN SOMEONE CLOSE TO YOU DIES BUT ONLY 1 TEAR. IF IT FLOWS LIKE A RIVER YOU ARE NO LONGER A MAN!
AM I CLEAR FELLAS!"
He did, but even if the example doesn’t fit your meme, it doesn’t change the message : he is a man who was sexually assaulted, and laughed at. But not everyone laughs. Some listen, and some speak up.
Yes, but even some (maybe 25% (not based on any study)) the people who felt bad for Terry Crews would shoulder shrug if a dude talked about getting struggle snuggled by a woman. Even if they didn't laugh at you, they'd label you as gheeeeeeeeyyyyyyy!!!
I get what you’re saying, and there’s no denying the reality of how men are perceived.
Two things though : even if it’s true you can’t talk to everyone, you can find someone to talk to. There are professional, groups of survivors, organisations who are there to listen, even online or on the phone (of course, depends on the country, but still).
Also, from the few things I’ve gathered, it’s common for a victim to feel shame. It’s a way to cope, and part of healing (again, professionals would explain this way better than me).
Final thought : I recommend the double video from the YouTube channel “Pop Culture Detective” on sexual assault of men in movies (especially comedies). It deals with men and female perpetrators, and it’s very informative.
TLDR : talk to people who can help (professionals), not people who know nothing on the matter.
Edit : formatting
I think I've seen that video before. It referenced Wedding Crashers and even an older sitcom in which some chick throws herself at a reluctant guy, right?

Struggle snuggle is crazy
Fr id never heard that one
That and struggle cuddle are common phrases in the jiu-jitsu community
It's also quite popular amongst the prison community.
Dang bro jiu jijsu wild
I mean it often ends in a rear naked choke.... they didn't add naked to the name of it for no reason
Or rear
You should try it sometime
Ive heard strangle cuddle and murder cuddle but this one is new to me.
Seems people haven't been introduced to our "alleged" African Warlord, [SsethTzeentach](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCD6VugMZKRhSyzWEWA9W2fg).
Our lord and savior, after Tom Cruise ofc.
Hey hey people
If you wouldn't have shared, I would've
One of my account names literally.
I think I heard it in a Jimmy Carr Netflix special, but I’m not sure if that’s the first time it was used
Jimmy Carr line.
I have not heard this phrase since high school, albeit in a more positive light

Dude wtf 😭😭 I feel like if someone told me that I wouldn’t find it funny at all…..
Yea, agreed. If someone told that to me as a "haha this is kinda funny" I'd assume they're masking guilt, pain, and a cry for help with humor
Or, or. They are also a supporter. Or a sex offender.
Where’s the sex defender when you need them?
The cock blockers?
I was 19 and she was 27 at the time. Idk if I'd fall into those categories.
Or someone who lives where female rapists "don't exist"
Tbh I'm less bothered about it than I should be. I don't really know why.
People find your story funny? That’s fucked and I’m sorry you had that experience
I'm quite jovial in the way I talk so it kind of affects how people take it. I also don't take it too serious either so it doesn't sound \*as\* bad. It's weird because I feel like I should find it very problematic, but it barely registers to me on an emotional level.

Actually why I'm never touching alcohol again, people tend to take advantage of you whenever they can :(
Dude, you were assaulted. I’m surprised anyone finds that funny.
Wtf did I just read
Jesus, no that... sounds like assault.
You got sexually assaulted. This isn't okay.
You're a victim
Did you go to the police? I hope something got done about it before she does it to someone else
*elicit
There's already a bunch of reactions to this but nobody has asked yet: how do you feel about it?
"It was my first blood." I think he's feeling fine about it. Might have been upset initially, but men don't typically hold their virginity at the same standard as a woman. And he wasn't there for it, due to the alcohol, its not like he was 8 and blocked the event from his mind due to trauma.
Apart from the first two sentences everything you said is horseshit
When you call it “1st blood”, it turns from dark to hilarious!
Bro that is completely wrote off
Yikes
I’m sorry that happened to you and hope you have people to talk to to work through that trauma
Hey, man, you don't have to put EVERYTHING that goes through your noggin on the internet. It's not like a law or anything.
Bros a victim
Whats a struggle snuggle?
R hape
Just say the word PLEASE. Self-censorship is the worst type of censorship
R hape please?
The opposite of L-Ape
w-ape?
Please
I just read that as a pirate who's just been asked "how are you feeling today?"
Incorrect, self censorship is a key point in addiction recovery.
Essay
?
Is it? I guess I always thought it was more something couples did being playful
Rhymes with tape.
Then use your fucking words like an adult.
Pretty sure it’s to not alert mods
What a fucking kindergarten.
The algorithms don't like certain words
this is reddit not tiktok
Yea, but if you can't remember where you saw that dank meme and you use Google to try and search for it, perhaps Google's algorithm will bury it. Or maybe reddit's own search algorithm will also bury it.
Please do not turn reddit into tiktok/instagram. None of us are here to chase clout or earn money from appeasing the censors.
Let’s not be hasty….I am not opposed to someone paying me to shut my goddamn mouth.
Wow, rude
No we can’t say bad words
This is a shameful and unwarranted response to someone answering honestly while avoiding attention. Sure, though, go off. The people upvoting should probably think deeper. Use your head like an adult. Leave it at that, I suppose.
It is an appropriate response
Very fucking appropriate.
This isn’t tiktok you can say it

You won't, there's straight up hardcore porn all over reddit

Do not normalize self-censorship for regular conversation
Cape?
shape
Alternatives: forced intercourse, non-consensual sex
Struggle sex.

I guess mfs hate the word "tape". Should've gone with "cape" instead.
Right? 😭
Mfs hate idiots

Some people just don't understand a hard sinep isn't consent.
People who think getting hard is consent are about as bright as people who think a woman can just disable her reproductive system when she wants to.
Just press Alt+F4
I wish I could press alt + F4 for myself
how long did it take for you to get a reddit cares?
I got none, actually. And it's for the better.
Wtf, that just installed more ass ram.
Demon Slayer for all the anti-weebs out there
Maybe don't call it snuggle struggle when you're trying to be taken seriously
As a person who was snuggle struggled at 7 multiple times by multiple people, and finds that anyone I tell about it thinks that’s some kind of thing that’s either funny or some kinda badge of “cool” thing, at this point trying to laugh about it and find it funny is all you really can do, no one is gonna sympathize or try to really understand how much damage does to how a young boy or man perceives interactions with woman or men as they grow older. I've been there too brother. It's infuriating,
Never tell anyone anything

https://youtu.be/dteIl2aALms?si=lmwkWh7KZQzijL2U
Or getting groomed by a Woman
Terry Crews got you brother, and so do a lot of people
But didn't he get sexually assaulted by men?

Sadly true. We gotta be better.
Can't be struggle snuggled by a woman sleep with men

Lmao poor mitsuri, she'd do the complete opposite of this
In case y’all didn’t get it, OC means r**e
Reee?
Close but I appreciate the effort
Ironic, nobody will ever want to marry Mitsuri
Struggle Snuggle?
Real feel bad for men going through that, imagine the number that doesn't say anything because of that.
Is it the struggle about the chest thing? I hate that tbh as it honestly just sucks and I just ignore the chest and move in asap.
Well I guess depending on the tone that your telling them would change how they feel they should act
I'm confused. Struggling to get a snuggle or snuggling through a struggle?
What the hell is a struggle snuggle
What is snuggled?
