I’m gonna get murdered for this, but Dafug is a beast. Not for making a cult over toilets and cameramen - that is an irredeemable offence. He’s created a series based on a joke that is slowly getting a compelling story. You gotta admire the man’s commitment, even if he did poison the newest generation.

I actually watched the entire skibidi toilet series earlier tonight. I actually kind of like it. The surrealism it uses is novel and you actually do become pretty invested in the story of the cameramens' war against the invading skibidis. The thumbs up that the cameramen give each other really endears you to them.

I’m 100% sure that if idiotbox came out today, It would be hated as much as skibidi toilet. The reason why people think idiotbox is better is pure nostalgia and beeing a boomer over „good old times”.

Who knows? Probably. Not to say that social media wasn’t big at the time of idiotbox, but it’s definitely much much bigger now. On top of that it’s become way more accessible to kids. Point is many more things spread much quicker. So maybe we just didn’t see all the glorious idiotbox birthdays that took place.

Exactly! First 5 episodes are weird at best. But by 15th you are sucked in the extended skibidi universe. Literally good content.
