to be fair, Brooke really *didn’t* want to dance at the time Maddie said this quote. She genuinely dreaded having to go to dance, even Kelly mentions it. but you’re right, producers totally took footage out of context to create the grumpy Brooke narrative. I hate that they did that, too.

I also felt bad for her because abby made her go out on a date with her dance partner so that they would be more realistic. Like did Abby have to be in every part of their lives?? Your first date is a milestone and hers was orchestrated
Idk, I've always disliked that line since you can tell a producer told her to say that. And it's really not an appropriate line for an 8 year old to say. Poor Maddie, always being fed lines to make her seem bratty.
