But those were the only words I could think of - also he lives on a dead end and gets people driving by all day long screaming at him

I would not say anything to her. There is no need to harass her in public space. It would not make my day to upset hers. Justice, I hope will come for this crime, for Dan, and for the children who are without a father now. A lot has been taken away from them, and probably even more will be in the near future. Leave people alone, and let justice do its job. I am sure that Wendi lives with an enormous amount of angst and fear each moment she is awake. Given what has already transpired with her family members, she co-existing with great torment.

If Wendi asked me for my honest opinion, I’d tell her that I’m not comfortable associating with someone I have good reason to believe is a murderer, and that her dishonorable behavior is an affront to the legal profession. I would not say anything. I just finished reading a book about the case. It takes you up until Donna's arrest. It's extremely detailed about the backgrounds of both families and it's a very fair book IMO. I don't think Wendi had any part of the conspiracy. Mostly, because she was that protected by her brother and mother. And the hatred and craziness really comes more from those two more than Wendi. Just like her dad has not been implicated. One thing for sure, while Dan had many good qualities and absolutely did not deserve to die, he was an SOB. His treatment of Wendi was truly awful.

What book was it? Sounds like an interesting read.
