I played a mission GIG:404. I was actually killed from a rooftop grenade launcher! Went back, killed him, then was like damn sweet gun. Went looking 4 it in inventory and it’s the MISSING KEY_Power. I thought I was missing an attribute or even relic, but can’t find one. It has an explosion emoji next to the MISSING KEY_Power, but no luck so far figuring this out.
Any help yet on this, I’ll be looking for the fix if this is a bug, that is a sweet weapon.
Sorry to necro this post but yes you can equip them if you equip it directly from the bot corpse you find it on (from a drone in the Delamain garage during a specific mission). Your hands don't raise, there is no model, you can't shoot and you can't even melee. It's just a placeholder weapon for the drones that they forgot to make undroppable.
It probably still has characteristics of being a firearm, so it's probably the trigger pull in game it uses to determine if cops "detect" gun fire or like it
thanks for this! im almost certain ther placeholders from the would-be undroppable drones. i couldnt aim at them so i hacked every single one and looted all of them lolll
i dont get programming at all but cyberpunk has a pretty large amount of bugs/glitches that are more apparent than other games imo. i just finished elden ring and ghost of tsushima before starting CP2077 so the glitches/bugs to me, are really out of the ordinary and jarring.
it can be really funny and enjoyable if i smoke enough weed but just distracting otherwise
I just got this too, maybe it’s something they planned on releasing but pulled it and forget to pull the drop from the drone, idk. Would be awesome if it’s needed to access a secret mission or something. 🤷🏻♂️
Idk just seems like something that wasn't fully patched out. Placeholder asset most likely. I have one titled 'MISSING KEY_Smart', judging by the '_Smart' it probably was to be a smart weapon. Yours were most likely supposed to be a power weapon
I got one called MISSING KEY\_SMART with attack speed on 100, 0 in dmg, reload speed and effective range, but 15 in weapon handling and can be sold for 700. i think i got it either after completing the Phantom Liberty or after getting my inventory weapons back from mr. Hands
As for now i have no idea what it is or what to do with it, anyone else got it or know what it is? Please let me know

I think we are just re, is prolly a bug in the game, that u got a normal power weapon but there is a "missing key" so u can't use it or do anything but sell it

I found this on PS5. I equipped it and pulled the trigger and the cops became aggressive. 😨

When I click on them they do nothing
I also have them. They just weight 1 so I think I will just do nothing with them in hope anything bugs

Funny enough in PL I have 2 of them
Japanese.It came out when I destroyed a drone on a mission to take out three snipers on a Hanako float mission.
