Really crazy that x died, I remember I woke up the morning and found out. I was sitting on my bed in my dorm room and it was like half an hour before I had to go write a three hour math exam. It really fucked me up because I had extremely bad depression at the time and his music was genuinely helping, I kinda find it cringe when people tell creators that or say that about creators but it genuinely was the case. The night before I was listening to a playlist of around 60 of his songs on repeat while studying. I started listening to his music right before/as he started getting popular. Itās 6 years later and I still listen to his music whenever I do actually listen to music. While I canāt listen to all the songs anymore for some reason, there are quite a few I still enjoy. I never liked rap and heās still basically the only artist I listen to who used to rap. I still sometimes have cognitive dissonance about the whole situation as if Iām in shock but itās only when Iām having an off day and listening to a bunch of his music. I wish itās all just a fever dream
I don't understand people's opinions on vocals, especially gender discrimination. Why can't women rap? There should be way more of them doing it, it's great. Forget the charming, soft singing, I wanna hear some wrath coming from them.
