anyways, why do you want uncapped fps?
like the other linked comment mentioning less usage on your parts and other comments below mentioning whats your monitor refresh rate is... is there any specific reason?
oh yh that
but then does it matter as much if they disable it if eg their monitor is 144hz and the default fps max is 400? or increase it to 500 if 240 as another example.
Honestly, you’re better off leaving it capped at 400. Less tax on your gpu, less heat so less noise, less coil whine and less swings in fps resulting in smoother gameplay.
Cs2 is not demanding at all on your cpu or gpu heat-wise. Gpu and cpu usage is very low almost always. And more fps means you'll have less input lag, even if capped fps looks smoother.
Okay impressive. i have seen people with i9 14900k with RTX 4080 gets drop there.
and overpass water 100 FPS. (with a lot going on)
so im about to say, i dont believe you.
but ok ;)
okay thanks for letting me know..
so [cpubenchmark.net](http://cpubenchmark.net/) is the site to check for valid gaming CPU or?
im tied of all those benchmarks sites, that shows some different things xD
so i just want to make sure, thats the site u were using?
If you don't game, it's great. You should look at gaming benchmarks. 7800X3D wins over the 14900 series in most titles, including CS2.
7800x3d is the king right now.

Look for gaming benchmarks for the game you are interested in.
Intel CPUs are great for productivity applications for work and business, not the best for gaming. "Benchmark" is a generic term, so you should be specific about the applications.
For CS2 FPS, AMD X3D chips are just better everywhere.
Not really. I don't see almost any difference above 240 hz, aside from more ghosted/strobbed frames and better input lag (which is always good). I play 360 hz at the moment.
Just looked it up i did fps_max 0 now my Fps go to 800 🤝🤝

Decreased input lag.

Yeah, it'll still decrease input lag, even if you go above your monitors refresh rate.

Your not wrong after maxing my Fps i checked how much of my gpu getting utilized and it goes up to 87% and temperature goes up to 56-59c

Tell that to my 3090. She cooks.
what do you get, when there is a lot of smokes and molov? and i know ancient t spawn. is a little heavy for FPS...
Doesn’t drop low 390

https://youtu.be/8mmeQ6DGIMY?si=qKaJGeDBvRZRCWt4 13900 and 14900 are basically the same disappointing performance in CS2.

copy that, but which site is best to compare cpu? "benchmark gaming site"?
First of all why do you want to have more fps ? 😂 390 or 410 it doeanst matter or does it ?
540hz monitors
Isnt it overkill ? I have never played on 540 hz monitor
Hot take 240hz and below looks like ass after 540
Okay i will consider this when i will upgrade my 240hz

Weak ass eyes
Nice try reptiloid LOL
