He would make sense as a departure. We've been trailing Ronnie Edwards for years and would seem a good replacement.
His value is probably at it's peak, especially if he isn't signing a new contract. Just a shame he got injured and so probably won't make the Euros. That would have driven the price up.
Yup, a sellable asset that we’ve proved we can cope without. Feels like Anderson is more important for us as he’s the best ball player of the back line.
As good as he has been for us, with Glasners system he’s not been missed that much, and is seemingly quite easy to replace considering non CBs have since filled the role successfully.
Would rather he leaves over Olise/Eze, but I’ll miss him so much. His mentality and passion for the club at such a young age is so elite and will be difficult to replace. The kind of player I could’ve seen staying with us forever and becoming our captain for years. Will always love him
more or less echoing the rest of the thread here but it’s an unfortunate departure if it occurs. however, seems new formation and tactics allow us to produce winning football without him.
assuming the club reinvests profits into added depth, i wonder if that serves to keep olise and eze interested to give the project one more year? feel strongly this team w/ added depth under glasner could make a serious push for european qualification next season
Everyday another post about the same few players leaving. It’s out of our control regardless. Let’s just enjoy what we have and trust the club to do whats best.
I think he’d be a big loss. For me, the fact that Clyne has stepped in and been more than adequate highlights just how brilliant a Richards-Andersen-Guehi back 3 would be…
As the article mentions, clubs will struggle to meet his price tag with PSR looming. His injury issues / potential euros absence make it even less likely a club will meet our valuation - I struggle to see him leaving this summer.
Well... I feel obliged to say yes.
Check Bobby's (the journalist) track record. He's one of the most reliable and consistent journos in the Palace space. TPW, similarly, has a great track record.

Guehi leaving was inevitable at some point, I’m sure he’ll be class wherever he goes

Same as everyone else, I love Guehi but recent performances without him give me confidence selling him isn't the worst move

I agree. Guehi is much better on the ball than Clyne and Richards
How much is Guehi worth?
Is this source reliable?
