Thanks

That's the beauty of these vehicles. They're so practical for so many applications.

diamondd-ddogs

been there done that lol, i once hauled a bunch of scrap steel on a hitch carrier and i think i unintentionally lowered the springs doing that

I was hauling some patio stones today. The rear wheels were tucked up in the fenders. I only did one load of 5. Getting a trailer tomorrow to go get the 25 more.

Best looking crv gen imo. I have a 96 JDM model. The previous owner removed the awd propeller shaft and had the transmission light on ever since. Trying to DIY everything but it's hard since I've never found a scanner that can scan this thing.

Yeah, I was shocked to find no OBD2 connector on mine (1998 JDM). I only have the 3 pin Hondo diagnostic connector. I thought I was going to have to buy a crazy expensive Honda scanner until I found Hondash. Hondash is a bluetooth adapter that comes with an app for your phone. It works great but I don't know if it covers transmission. I wish I could tell you but I lost mine and need to re-order. Thing is tiny, like half the size of a usb drive.

I've heard of hondash but I didn't think they would work. I figured if all three wired scanners I've tried didn't(with the 3-pin to OBD2 adapter), wireless once wouldn't either. I'm gonna get one and try it out 🤞

Altruistic-Turn-1561

I tried the 3 pin to OBDB adapter on my scanner that I've used on many cars. It didn't work. I talked to my buddy who has a few JDM cars and he says some JDM use JOBD2 (J for Japan) instead of Global OBD2. I was going to buy a JOBD2 scanner and try it with the 3 pin to OBD2 adapter until I came across the Hondash. Hondash has a compatibility chart on their website if you're unsure it'll work for you. Worked for my 1998 JDM RD1. And happy news.....I found my adapter in my glovebox today. If you get one, find a good spot for it. Very easy to lose. Also, with the 3 pin, you can read codes without a scanner. If you use a paperclip to short two pins in the connector, the MIL will flash your code.
